Chapter 6: we meet again

Dawn's POV

I woke up ,and I didn't have a nightmare this time. I smiled. I looked over at silver and he was fast asleep. when I looked a little closer ,I could tell he was having a nightmare. His teeth were gritted in anger ,his hands were clutched into fists ,and every once in a while he would say some........ very colorful vocabulary. I sat by his bed and he was clutching his fists so hard ,his nails started to dig into his skin.

I grabbed his fist and gently pried his nails from his skin ,but he immediately tried to scratch me with his sharp nails. he got my arm and they stung in pain. my first instinct was to attack ,but I didn't want to hurt silver. I felt my tail frizz up in anger ,but I just ignored it. I looked at silver and I didn't know what to do. I petted his hair down ,trying to calm him ,but it wasn't working.

A thought suddenly sprung into my head. I quietly sang a lullaby. my mom used to sing it to me when I was little ,her sweet voice echoed through my mind as I sang in a gentle voice. I looked at silver and his face softened ,he unclenched his fists and I think a saw a small smile on his face. I smiled and went over to my bed. I laid down and looked at the ceiling ,it was already 8 ,but I didn't feel like getting up.

Suddenly I heard him stir. I turned my head to look at him and he sat up ,rubbing his eyes.

I said "morning"

He muttered "morning"

I asked "what was your dream about?"

He froze. I tilted my head slightly confused. I said "you can tell me"

He said "no I can't"

I began " well maybe if-"

He snarled "Im not telling you!"

I drew back a bit hurt. I looked down at my lap and saw bloody bandages on my wrist. I unwrapped it and it was already fully healed.

I said "c'mon ,lets just visit gold"

I stood up and walked out of the room ,knowing he would follow. he followed me out of the Pokemon center and he saw my arm.

He asked "what happened to your arm?"

I answered "nothing"

He grabbed my wrist and looked at the thin cuts on my arm.

I pulled away and said "I'm fine"

I walked away before he could say anything. I entered the hospital ,I was really worried about gold ,I hope he was ok.

I asked nurse joy "can me and my friend see gold?"

She had the same sweet smile plastered on her face as she said "sure sweetie ,right this way"

She led the way to the room and when I walked in I smiled. Gold sat there ,stuffing his face with breakfast. I giggled. he looked up and smiled at us. silver and I walked over to his bed.

I asked "are you feeling any better?"

He nodded. I smiled at him and a look of confusion crossed his face ,he asked "why don't you have any cuts ,I could've sworn I saw a giant bite on your wrist and deep scratches on your back"

Suddenly silver noticed and a look of confusion crossed his face. I just smiled nervously.

I said "I think we should be more worried about your cuts ,can I see them?"

He nodded and unwrapped them. I winced at the deep looking cuts. I lightly brushed my fingers over them and suddenly ,it looked like they were healing.

Gold yelled "what the heck!!!"

I immediately pulled back and looked at my hand ,which was now covered in a white aura. my ears perked as I looked at my hand in confusion.

My hands shook in fear. I calmed down and gently put my hand on Golds cuts. they started to heal slowly. I pulled my hand back but put it back on his chest. Silver and Gold stared in disbelief. Soon I fully healed golds cuts. I pulled my hand away and gold just looked at his chest in disbelief.

Gold said "did you?!? how did?!? what!!!"

Silver asked "how do you have healing powers and why have you never even told us?"

I shrugged my shoulders. I said "I never knew I had them till now"

They looked at my hands weirdly. I said "silver sit down"

He obeyed confused. I kneeled down and put my hand on his leg. I could feel it slowly start to heal. I could feel my energy start to fade. I finished healing it and I felt a bit weak. I removed my hand and looked at Silvers fully healed leg.

I still couldn't believe it. I looked at my hands and whispered "whats happening to me?"

I clutched them into my fists but then let them relax. I said "lets just get out of here ,hospitals freak me out"

I stood up and Gold and Silver just stared in disbelief. Soon silver stood up and same with gold. I walked up to the counter and faced nurse joy.

I said "Gold's all right now ,so we'll be going" I smiled sweetly

She said "alright ,don't wander into any Zubat caves while I'm gone!"

I said "will do"

I walked out with Gold and silver following.

I said "c'mon ,lets go challenge the gym leader"

Gold yelled "I call battling Bugsy first!!!"

And with that he ran ahead of me with silver following. I rolled my eyes. when they were out of sight I felt a hand over my mouth and I felt arms grab me. I struggled and let out muffled cries. I used all of my strength when all of a sudden ,I saw their uniforms. White with a blood red R.

Team Rocket.

I scowled in disgust at the name. I struggled relentlessly trying to fight my way out of it. I was weak compared to them. I elbowed one of them in the stomach and he released his grip on me. I bit the hand over my mouth and used my free hand to punch the other grunt in the face.

I was kicking some serious ass out there!

I felt a blow to my stomach but I still stood strong. I staggered then I kicked the third grunt in the leg. he hopped up and down holding one leg in pain and one of the grunts fled like a coward. I smirked and punched the second grunt in the jaw ,he grabbed my arm in mid punch and flipped me. I fell on my back with a groan and the two stood over me smirking.

So much for kicking their asses.

One of them grabbed me by the hair and yanked me up ,my hat staying on surprisingly. I winced in pain as I got to my legs and I glared at them in anger. they both grabbed my arms roughly and started to take me away again. I struggled and kicked the same guy in the leg again. he let go and I punched the other in the face. They had a look of hatred on their faces before they turned and ran.

I muttered "useless cowards"

I turned on my heel and headed for the gym to meet up with gold and silver.
