Keep them hidden

Mias POV:
A few days later and we had come to the problem that was getting the twins home.
Paige reassured me it would be fine but all the way to the airport I was worried.
I felt cruel. They were barely a week old and now I was flying them all the way across the world.
Luckily my babies were sound asleep and their ears were ok. They were absolute angels and I was so thankful for it.
We arrived back at the house during the day but I knew we'd all be jet lagged.
Jesses beautiful parents were at the house when we arrived and said they'd look after the babies for a while, letting us get some sleep. I was so grateful for them, as was Jesse, because we so desperately needed sleep.
And we fell under within seconds.

I had no idea how long we were asleep for until we woke up the next morning. Linn and Andrew didn't seem to care, and they said Mason and Ava slept so beautifully for them. They didn't seem to cry much and that was good.
Jess had another game to play. It was only a friendly, and it was a closed stadium, so we decided to take the babies to watch it. Paul wasn't playing so he came with me, as did Paige and the kids.
They were so excited to see their new 'cousins' and it was the first time they met.
Mason was in Paul's arms, looking around aimlessly at the flood lights and the green grass.
Ava was sat with me, playing with Melody who seemed to have already fallen in love with her. Jesse came out and gave them both kisses, which they both smiled at.
The game began and they were perfectly fine, apart from the whistle, which Ava hated.
Melody and Thiago were cheering for the boys and I was sat smiling, with Ava in my lap.
Paul was trying to teach Mason some Manchester United football songs, which I found so funny, since Mason was only 8 days old.

I pulled the boys up during half time. I heard a few unacceptable comments from the boys down on the pitch, especially Marcus and I felt it was necessary to mention it.
'Just letting you know, it's eerie out there, practically silent. Yeah your winning but whatever you say out there can be heard by anyone. You have no fans to cover your tracks.' I told the boys. They seemed shocked, as if they didn't notice.
'That's a good point Mia, I just want you boys to understand that they can hear all you say, so be careful.' José Said, basically repeating what I said.
I rolled my eyes behind his back.
Behave Jesse mouthed towards me. I walked away and José came to sit besides me.
'Jess is a really good man you know Mia.' José started.
I nodded, concentrating on the game.
'Listen to me..' He spat.
Paul spun around quickly.
'I'd rather not, I'm Tryna watch the game, which is also your job.' I Replied, keeping my eyes on the boys.
'You just wanna watch these boys run about. It's nothing to do with your job.' He mocked.
'Walk away.' Paul Said getting closer to him.
'I've got a fiancé.' I laughed.
'José' Paul warned, holding Mason tighter.
'I'll tell the world.' He Said getting his phone out.
'Sorry What?' I scoffed.
'Nobody knows you've had your babies yet, do they?'
'I mean.' I stuttered. I was lost for words. He wouldn't, would he?
Paul grabbed my hand and moved me away.
We were somehow now sat on the other side of the stadium. The boys seemed to notice and I could tell Jess was worried, especially after seeing Paul had to protect me.
'He wouldn't?' I Asked.

'He would, so from now on you keep these two hidden.' He Said, pulling Mason closer to him.
I did the same with Ava but what really wound me up was that someone was looking to ruin our big reveal. Me and Jess had decided to do it tonight anyway, we couldn't hide our children for long. But I just hoped José didn't get there before us.
The game ended. United won and it was a breeze for them. Jesse walked straight past Mourinho towards me and Paul.
'What happened?' He Asked, towering over us.
'I'll explain later, go get yourself ready, we need to leave.' I said standing up.
'Your coming with me.' He said grabbing my hand.
Paul passed Mason over to Jesse and said he'd meet us at the car. I knew José would be hanging around the changing rooms somewhere, as did Jesse, as he did his best to make sure we didn't cross paths.
'Want me to send it?' I heard José say from behind me.
I shut my eyes and Jess pulled me along with him.
'Send what?' Jesse was persistent to get the answer out of me now.
'He's got it ready. Just one click of a button and he's told the world about our children. And all because I didn't listen to him.' I whispered, hugging Mason, whilst Jesse got changed.
'Your joking right?' Marcus Laughed from the other side of the lockers.
I shook my head.
'Yeah, I heard him call her a slag, I was down that side of the pitch when it happened.' Fred told my fiancé. I'd never seen him angrier in my life.
Well. I have.
But let's not go into that.
