As we enter Hogwarts, Draco grips my wrist, hurting it, and pulls me along the rest of the first years.
"Remember Isabela. You go to Slytherin. Don't meddle with Blood Trators, or mudblood." He growled. I nodded and looked down at my feet, hissing in pain as his grip only gets worse.
We rode on the boats with Crabbe and Goyal to the castle to wait at the staircase to see Professer McGonagall. My wand never left my knee high boots.
"Welcome to Hogwarts." She smiled. "In a few moments you will pass threw thoughts doors and join your class mates, but before you can do anything you must be sorted in our Hogwarts houses. They are Griffindore, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin." Draco smirked and never loosened his grip. Tears were threatening to spill. "From here, your house will be like your family." After those words, the pain was the only thing I was focusing on.
His nails were digging into my skin where drops of blood hit the floor.
McGonagall left leaving us alone.
"So it's true then, what they are saying on the train.Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." Sneered my brother. He left me go, causing me to sigh of relief as I dry the blood off my wrist. "That's Crabbe, Goyal, and my filthy excuse of a sister, Isabela. And I'm malfoy. Draco Malfoy." I felt tears burn my eyes when he called me that.
"Draco, that's not nice." I whispered to him. But he ignored me. Ron snickers at Draco's name causing my brother to glare.
"Think my name is funny do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair, hamy down robes. Your must be a Weasley."
"Draco. There is nothing wrong with the Weasleys." I growled, narrowing my eyes a5 him. He glares at me before slapping me. My bruise started to sting. I lost control of my feet and fell. Potter and Weasley looked at me in sadness.
"You learn that some wizard family's are better. I can help you there. As could my sister when she knows her place." Sneered my brother, exstended him hand for Potter to shake.
But he just looks at it. Then he looks at me. "I can sort the wrong thing out for myself thanks. And your sister seems fine to me." Draco turned beat red. I smiled a little, but Draco didn't like it. He looked at me again before slapping me. I didn't fall this time, as McGonagall walked in.
"We are ready for you." She sighed.
We followed behind her, Draco gripping me again.
"When I call your name, please sit, and this hat will tell us your house." I smiled.
"Hermonie Granger." A girl with bushy hair sat down. "Griffindore."
"Draco Malfoy." He let me go and sat down. The hat yelled "SLYTHERINE." Without even touching his head.
"Ronald Weasley." I heard Freddie and a Georgie making me look at them. They smiled at me telling me I'll be ok. "Griffindore.
"Harry Potter." I flash a smile to him when he walks up and sits down. After a few moments the hat yelled, "GRIFFINDORE." I smiled at him.
"Isabel Black." At first i was confused. Then remembered.
"It's Malfoy." I told McGonagall. "Isabela Malfoy."
"Thats not what this says dear." Smiled the Professor. I nodded and sat down.
Ahhh. I have been waiting for you. Your confused on your parents? Look about Samara Black. You have the family necklace....almost all the blacks are in Slytherin. But your so much like your father. I say....GRIFFINDORE.
I couldn't help but smile as I run over to Freddie and Georgie.
"Our almost SLYTHERINE Princess, is know the Griffindore Princess." I rolled my eyes at Freddie's joke but I liked the sound of that.
...
That night I slept like I was dead. I made a few friends. Seamus, Hermonie, Dean, and I even became friends with Harry Freaking Potter.
It was still early when I woke up so I grabbed my letter and quil and walked to the Astronamy Tower.
As I look over the stars, trying to find Sirius or Cassiopeia. I write to my father.
Dear Father and mother,
I'm sorry for letting you down. I'm sure Draco has told you. But I have been sorted into Griffindore. I promise that I'm sorry. Just please, don't hurt me. I need a father. A mother. Draco hurts me enough.
I love you.
Your daughter
Isabel.
As I finish the letter I look up at the sky and Sirius. My favorite constellation. I place my hand on the necklace I have had my whole life. It had a B on it. I always had to hide it from father.
"Star gazer." Said a voice. I jolted and looked around. I saw Dumbledore standing at the door way. "That is what your father called you the moment you were born."
"You know Lucius Malfoy sir?" I asked, confused.
"No my dear. I mean your biological father." He chuckled, walking over to me.
"You knew him?"
"Indeed. You and your brother are more alike."
"My brother? You mean Draco?" He sat down next to me, shaking his head.
"No my dear star Gazer. I don't mean Mr. Malfoy. You have a younger brother. His name is Dorian. He was only just born when your father was sent to Azkaban. As soon as he was named, the minister took your father away."
"Sir...who was my father?" I asked, rubbing the necklace.
"He was a innacent man. But he loved you. When things got ruff, He married someone he thought he loved. Samora LaRue. Both suffered." Sighed Dumbledore.
"You never answered my question sir." I pointed out.
"No." He smiled. "No I did not." He got up and left me with my thoughts.
