It was dinner time and I was bouncing Emma on my lap, Cedric sitting with me at the Griffindore table. That earned some looks. Dumbledore went over the try wizard Campion ship and I could see Cedric got excited.

I looked at him confused. "Are you planning on entering?" I asked, trying to not show my hope for him to not. 

"Maybe. I'm not sure yet." He didn't look me in the eyes, so I know he is. 

"Ced. Look at me." He was hesitating, but looked into my eyes. "Are you planning on joining the Torniment?" 

He studied me for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah. Yeah I am." 

"Then why lie to me?" I asked, a little pissed. 

"Cause I know your gonna say don't do it." He sighed. 

"The reason I don't want you to do it is because people die." I snapped. 

"I won't die." He Snapped back. 

"Think about Emma." I told him. "You came into her life and you are possibly leaving her." I told him, looked down at her. 

"Emma's not my responsibility!" He hissed. 

"Then why say she is." I asked him, hurt. I took Emma in my arms and went to the dorm and played with her. 

All this time, Cedric said that he saw Emma as his. And he clearly doesn't care that if he dies he's leaving her. 

"Mama." I looked down at my crawling daughter. Her first words. Her first words that Cedric didn't witness. I felt tears roll down my cheeks and nodded. 

"Yes baby girl I'm your Mama." I sobbed. I picked her up and sobbed into her. 

"Mama, Mama" she repeated swapping my head." I smiled brightly and put her in pjs and kissed her head. 

"Goodnight Baby." I shut off the lights after laying her in her crib and went to bed. 

The next day after dropping off Emma, I see Cedric's arm wrapped around Cho. She kissed him on the lips and he didn't pull away. He kissed her back. I felt my heart break and walk over to them. 

"Hello Cheater, skank." I took off my engagement ring and handed it to Cho. "Just Incase you guys get serious." I mumbled and walked away. I heard Cedric shout my name but I ignored him and went to potions. 

By lunch, everyone was talking of Cedric and Cho and how he left Emma and I. 

The dirty looks turned into pity as I played with my daughter inbetweeen classes. 

At dinner, Dumbledore welcomed two schools to be part of the Games. Dumstrung and Beaxtans. 

I smiled softly at the people who looked at me and made my to my room. When I got threw, all Cedric's stuff was all gone. I felt a bang in my hear but I remembered I still have my baby girl. 

"Mama." She Said, making me look at her, I saw her pointing to her mouth and I got she was hungry. 

I took her to the kitchen and fed her milk and puffs. 

After dinner I gave her a bath. She giggled and slashed me a lot, causeing my heart to swarm.
