05| "Where would I be if you hadn't discovered?"

Tadashi was practicing for her musical festival what would happen after Thanksgiving. It was a showcase for the performing arts students and she was excited to be performing one of the pieces she was working on. Her father was taking off of work just to be there so it had to be perfect.

When she heard the door to the auditorium open she didn't bother to look up because she figured it was Veronica. The lights went off making Tadashi stop playing, "Hello." She felt a shove to her back before she was on the ground. She screamed out in pain, as the person started hitting her. She felt her clothing being tugged at and someone's hot breath on her body.

She tried calling out for help but the person put their hand over her mouth. So she pick up her hand and dug her nails into his arm. Due to that, he punched her in the mouth.

"Please stop.."

She could hear the door open and the guy running off. When the lights turned back on, Veronica ran to the stage where Tadashi was laid out bleeding from her cuts.

Veronica: "Oh my gosh Tay what happened?"

"I don't know, one minute I was practicing and the next minute the lights turned off and I was being attacked."

Veronica: "I have to call Bin."

"Wait!" Tadashi eyes widened and she grabbed Veronica arms. "Please don't! Bin can't know about this. He's already stressed out and he's been doing so good I don't want him to go off the handles again. Veronica please... promise me you wouldn't say anything to Bin about this."

Veronica: "Okay, can we at least get you looked at by a doctor. This cut looks bad." She helped her up. Tadashi lip was busted and she had an abrasion on her forehead. Looking down at her broken violin it broke her heart.

First it was Tadashi beating then it was Justice car being smashed. They walked outside to see the windows busted and all the tires slashed.

Veronica: "He's gonna fucking kill me." They could hear police sirens, Veronica figured someone called the police when they saw the car being vandalized. Between the head cut and the loud sirens, Tadashi became very dizzy.

"I think I need to sit down.. Yeah." Tadashi proceeded to sit down on the steps while Veronica called Justice. Once she sat down, she laid down and slowly became unconscious.

As she promised Veronica didn't call Bin but she contacted Tadashi's grandma and uncle when she passed out. Sitting in the hospital Tadashi slowly ate her jello while watching the news. Her grandma was sitting by her knitting and Veronica was stressing about Justice car. When the police entered the room, Veronica stood up.

Veronica: "She doesn't have to answer any questions."

Dash: "Like hell she doesn't, we are going to find out who did this to my baby. You should be asking her drug dealer boyfriend some questions because I know he's behind this."

"Gramma Bin had absolutely nothing to do with this." The policeman took note of that.

Officer James: "Are you talking about Bin Abraham-Joseph?"

"Yeah but don't write that down. Bin doesn't need to be involved with this. I'm okay I promise, I just want to move on from this." Dash noticed how jumpy Tadashi got when Bin name was mentioned.

Officer Carter: "Can you tell us about your attacker?" Tadashi shook her head no, "it was dark, I didn't see anything."

Officer James: "We were told you were attacked in an auditorium, how did the lights turn off?"

"I have no idea. the door opened and I thought it was Veronica so I didn't pay it any attention. Then the lights went off and I was being punched."
