MARCH: In her room, Tadashi folded her clothes while Monica played throughout her room. She was far along in her pregnancy, there was no hiding it now. She was the talk of the hood for a while, everybody was surprised that she lied.

Santo of course was furious about all of it, but killing her wasn't an option anymore. Bin was still fighting, he was close to a championship title, his inspiration had became the baby growing inside of Tadashi.

Her phone started ringing, it was Larry reminding her that he was on the way to take her to her doctors appointment. They were going to find out the gender today, Tadashi was sure that it's a boy. She would speak to her stomach every chance she got, so he could hear his mother's voice.

"Did you get me some food?" Larry shook his head and handed her the Popeyes bag from the back seat of his mothers truck.

Larry: "Ion know why you wanted to eat right now instead of later, you're gonna be gassy. Are you even supposed to eat big meals before an appointment?"

"I don't know Larry but I'm hungry, so shut up and let me eat." Larry didn't say anything else. "I was thinking about making you and Veronica the godparents.."

Larry: "Aren't the godparents supposed to be in a relationship? And why would you make Veronica the godmother when she's already the auntie?"

"Because she's my best friend and you're my best friend. It just makes sense."

Larry: "What is the role of the godparents because you know ion baby sit kids.." Tadashi just laughed.

"Now you know if I needed a baby sitter you would be the first one there for me."

Larry: "Maybe.. Maybe not, I've actually been thinking about moving after graduation." She stopped eating and slowly looked at him. Larry had some things to do that he couldn't tell Tadashi about because he knew she would be disappointed and try to talk him out of it but it was something he had to do for himself. He didn't need anymore guilt tripping him over it.

"You never told me that."

Larry: "It was just something that crossed my mind that I forgot to tell you. Plus my mom had always wanted to move outta here and I applied to UCLA." He hated lying to her, Bin did that enough but it was for her own protection.

"Well, that's nice, I hope you get in." She closed her container and pushed it to the side of her lap. She didn't like the idea of Larry moving outta Atlanta.

Larry: "Didn't your father tell you he had an apartment for you and the baby in Canada?"

"Why would I move back to Canada? My baby's father is here Larry."

Larry: "Here you go with that shit again, first you wanna go to his matches, asking about him and now you're staying in Atlanta for him! You've got to be the stupidest girl I've ever met."

"Wow, that was nice." Tadashi said sarcastically, "We might be broken up but we were together for five years, I would never just up and leave especially not now that I'm pregnant. This is his baby too, I may be the mother but I don't have the right to keep his baby away from him."

Larry scoffed, "There you go changing your mind again. I thought you said he wasn't going to see the baby until he got out of the game?"

"I know.. But I have faith in Bin. He's- I know he can do better."

Nothing else was spoken in the car, when they got into the doctors office it was quiet until Tadashi was called in the back.

Throughout her six months, Larry tried making sure she wasn't stressing out over anything but of course all she could think about was Bin and what he was doing.
