Tadashi didn't get the scholarship or the internship, the scouts said the violin program needed something different.

At first she was a little down about the results but she didn't let that put her spirits down, she knew she was a good violinist now just wasn't her time. "How did you father take the news?" Veronica asked as they walked around in the store.

Veronica wanted Tadashi to get her mind off things so she had Chresanto drop them off at the mall. Nobody said anything about her pregnancy until today. Her and Bin didn't even have a conversation about it. He was scared to talk to her and Tadashi just figured that meant he didn't want her to have the baby. The idea of having an abortion weighed high on her mind.

"Honestly I don't know.. he didn't say anything about it. Bin didn't either, they both just disappeared on me."

Veronica: "Well.." she wanted to tell her about the beating that Santo gave him over her but she didn't want to scare her.

"I didn't think my senior year would be like this." Veronica chuckles.

Veronica: "Yeah we had some much things planned."

When Tadashi first started to come around the house more often for Bin, Veronica ignored her. She thought she was too nice and gullible.

Veronica thought it was ridiculous that she paid Bin any attention. Cynthia made sure her daughters got a good education, Veronica even got an opportunity to skip up a grade which is why she's in the same grade with Bin and Tadashi. They became friends freshmen year. At the time it was Tadashi first year in Laville private performing arts school and Veronica's first year at Central Liberty High.

THREE YEARS AGO FROM
TODAY: Yelling out in frustration, Veronica sighed at the fact she couldn't get her hair into a ponytail. It was an Saturday afternoon and the rest of her sisters were at the park with Tadashi expect for Vicky.

Hearing her sister in the bathroom making a lot of noise, Vicky got out of her bed and proceeded down the hallway.

Vicky: "Why you making so much noise?"
Veronica: "I can't get my hair right, moms not here and justice is taking me to get some ice cream later."

Vicky: "why does it matter how your hair look? Just wear it down like you always do."

Shaking her head Veronica sighed, "You wouldn't understand."

Vicky: "Are you tryna look cute for justice?" Veronica just huffed and pushed her sister out the bathroom and slammed the door behind her. Veronica didn't know why she cared so much about how her hair looked because she didn't like Justice but she wanted it to look nice. This was her first 'date' but of course she refused to call it that.

Serya ran in the house with her toy in her hand. She was waving it around running everywhere looking for her big sis.

Serya: "Vee, Vee look at what Tay brought me.." She was so excited, smiling from ear to ear.

Veronica: "It's cute Serya, now go sit down somewhere.." Tadashi saw the irritated look Veronica held on her face because she usually wore a resting bitch look on her face.

"Are you okay?" Veronica looked at Tadashi and wanted to tell her to get out of her face but then she figured she could help.

Veronica: "Actually - and I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't desperate but I really need you to help me with my hair."
