Error and Ink have been hanging around a lot more recently. It had been almost 4 months since they had last fought because of their 'jobs.' Error has been a little more comfortable around Ink since they decided not to fight anymore.

Ink decides to stick with the term 'friends' when referring to Error instead of 'former enemy who finally decided to stop being a dope and agreed to stop.' Ink was looking forward to today. Today was when Error would finally come over. Usually they just meet in Outertale to talk, but today, after so much begging from Ink, Error finally agreed to come over and spend some time that way.

While Ink was imagining how well things could turn out and that maybe Error would come over more, there was a knock on his door. Ink went over to the front door and opened it, greeted by Error who looked weirdly nervous about this. Ink smiled brightly at him, trying to cheer him up. He stepped aside so Error could come in. Error walked inside and sat on the couch, Ink following close behind after shutting the door.

Error still seemed to be nervous and he kept looking around. Ink giggled. "Error everything is fine, you can calm down." Error smiled a little at Ink. Not the smile that he used to have when he was destroying AU's, but a real smile, which seemed to be a very rare sight. Ink smiled back brightly, causing Error to blush a light yellow.

Ink was confused by this, wondering why Error was blushing. "You okay Error?" Error seemed to be in thought when he realized what Ink said. "O-Oh yEaH I'm FinE." Ink wasn't  convinced, but left him alone. Ink decided to give Error a hug to try and cheer him up, but it didn't go as planned. Error immediately jumped off the couch. "D-DON'T TO-OUCH ME."

If Ink had an actual heart he would've had a heart attack. Being the forgetful skeleton he is, he completely forgot about Error's haphephobia. "Oh sorry Error! I forgot." Error calmed down after a minute. "It'S fIne..."

They both stared at eachother awkwardly without saying a single thing for about 2 minutes, before Ink broke the silence. "Wanna watch a movie?" Error shrugged, so Ink got up and grabbed a movie, then put it in.

An hour or two later the movie finally finished. Ink had put in a movie where the end had the guy kiss the girl before the girl died. Ink got up and went to the kitchen to make some food. All Error could think was what to do. After about a month since Error and Ink had stopped fighting, Error started to feel things for Ink. It had been a week after that since he figured out what the feelings were. He loved Ink, but could do nothing about it.

Error waited for Ink to finish what he was doing. After a few minutes, smoke came from the kitchen and then the sound of a fire extinguisher. Another minute later, Ink came out with two bouls of instant noodles. He rubbed the back of his head. "I think I broke the stove, so I just made some instant noodles."

Ink passed Error a bowl, who took it from Ink and smiled at him. Ink blushed and smiled back. They finished their instant noodles and Error was trying to figure out what to tell Ink. He wanted so badly to tell Ink that he loved him, but knew that something like that could never work since he was a destroyer and Ink was a creator.

Ink had, had a crush on Error for a while before they had stopped fighting eachother. He couldn't tell Error since he didn't know how he would react. Ink and Error decided to go to Outertale. Well Error decided, since he insisted that something was going on. They portaled to a certain spot that was different than where they usually went.

There were a bunch of monsters that had blankets on the ground. Error and Ink sat in a clear spot on the ground. Ink looked at Error in a confused manner. "Why are we here Err-" Error cut Ink off by shushing him. For the first time, Error spoke without any glitches. "Look at the sky." Ink nodded and looked at the starry sky.

Ink wondered what was so important and why Error spoke without glitches. A single comet went through the sky, followed by more. It was just an ordinary meteor shower from what Ink could tell, until a blazing purple comet, stroked with gold flecks flashed through the sky, slower than the others. It was also larger and brighter than the others and with a closer inspection the purple blaze was a whirl of different shades of purples and pinks, while the gold flecks had little hints of yellow and orange hidden within them.

Ink's eyes turned to stars as he looked at the beautiful comet. "Wow. Its.... beautiful." After the comet passed, Error looked at Ink. "Hey uM InK..." Ink looked towards Error, a question mark appearing in his right eye. "Yeah Error?"

Error sighed, but some extra glitches appeared on him. "InK I... I knoW yOu proBablY doN't reTurN thEse feeLings, buT. InK I loVe You." Ink didn't know what to say. "Error..." Error laughed. "I unDerStaNd thAt yOu stiLl pRobAbly hAte Me."

Ink hummed and grabbed Error by the scarf. He pulled Error towards himself and kissed him. Error's eyes widened in shock, but he immediately closed his eyes and kissed back. They pulled away and Ink smiled at Error. "I love you too."
