Above is meant to be Kye.

Slurring his words and stumbling about, Kye was like a kid learning to walk again by late afternoon.

Dinner was a bottle of whiskey with a orange juice and vodka mixed chaser. He was slurring his words by two in the afternoon and unconscious on his little blue couch by five, head at a strange crooked angle being propped up by his elbow and hand.

He reeked of alcohol, anyone that came too close could become high of the fumes on his breath!

Every second weekend Kye would find himself a bottle of alcohol and drink his sorrows away. He was just known as the sad guy, a junkie even that hid in oversized hoodies and baggy sweatpants that swallowed any sign of his lanky figure. To say he wasn't the most popular guy was an understatement. He liked to be alone a lot, hated the attention. He didn't have many friends, practically non at all. Accept for one..

He woke a while later around nine, his stomach didn't feel too good and his head felt heavy like a bowling ball. Eyes fluttering open, he had to blink a few times before anything came into focus. He'd sobered up a little bit during his small sleep but his stomach didn't feel well at all, actually it really hurt. His eyes opened slowly and he let out a quiet groan, raising his head he looks around til his eyes landed on a pair of familiar kelp green eyes looking down into his own grey ones. A smile immediately curled on his lips and his chest filled with this weird bubbly feeling that made him giggle like a weirdo.

It was Mason, coaxing him awake with gentle cooed words and a soft small hand against his flushed cheek.

Mason was his roommate, kind, caring, sweet roommate that unlike him was actually popular with plenty of friends, quite handsome too. He was on the track team, so he was fit with muscles rippling down his legs and chest. He was a sight to behold even for a tiny human, Kye couldn't keep his mind from wandering at the sight before him, his head leaning unconsciously into the small hand on his cheek. He didn't usually care too much about others... mainly because he wasn't really a people person, Mason being his only friend-

Mason was human, yes. In this world humans and giants lived along side each other. Compared to giants, humans came up to knee height, Mason being like a handsome toddler in size compared to Kye who was apart of the giant species

Mason meets Kye's gaze not with any shyness, not any anger or hate that he was drunk again but with a kindness, a caring touch, worried for his friends well being at this point seeing him unconscious, it made his heart twist in knots. He didn't even mind that he was leaning against his hand.. it was very affectionate and made his heart beat quicken. He was glad to see him not dead atleast. He hated seeing Kye like this, especially after arriving home after a long day of track training to see the apartment trashed and Kye a drunken mess on the couch. it was annoying, yes. But he was just so use to kyes drunken  antics that it was normal almost.

Track training wasn't the best that day, there were a group of giants that were hanging around and didn't seem to leave as they watched the humans train. Everyone was a little on edge, especially when training was over and they came over to pick on some of the humans that weren't the best at track. Calling them names and picking on them for their height. Mason felt bad that he hadn't of said anything to the giants, he knew them and was kind of their friends.. but knew standing up for others would ultimately end up in bad news

Mason had a thick head of tousled dark brown curls that fell about a tanned forehead and into his worried green eyes. He was a handsome guy, plump lips good for kissing, dazzling eyes that glowed against soft dark skin that Kye often wanted to just touch. Unlike Kye who was pale with bleach blonde hair that hung against his cheeks bones, Mason was perfect, too perfect that women and men alike would swoon over him on the daily. Complete polar opposites from an outsiders perspective they were.
