You wander the woods by the Burkewood for a while, looking out  for some sort of entrance that may lead to the ruins of a city that once stood grand and vast: it's walls stretched across an entire kingdom of space. You remember hearing Heruld's warning about the things that dwell in the caverns, but you still decide to take your chances.
Time passes, and you begin to lose hope, until suddenly you notice there is a strange crevice between two ridges, a slight gap of an opening that reveals a dark opening. You venture in and take a slight peak around, noticing the walls feel almost as if they are closing in around you, you keep going further and further. The crevice then leads to an opening, and you realize it is a cave, perhaps even a tunnel.
You continue to venture, with the dim light from the crevice as your guide. The cave is haunted with sounds of wind, and gentle and almost silent howls that send chills down your neck. You venture deeper and deeper, but notice the light is dimming, and the cave opens to it's first obstacle.
A) You notice that there are three different paths that you can endure in this cave, but the light doesn't reveal what lies beyond ahead. You must decide which way you should go to reach the other side.

1) Take the left path
2) Take the center path
3) Take the right path

1] You go ahead and head for the left path. The cave darkens and you feel a strange aura, as if another sense was being used to warn you something is watching you. But that feeling is replaced with assurance when suddenly you and dropped to the ground, and you hear a slight groaning sound. You ready yourself, but you can't find what it is. Then a massive night of strength is thrown at you, knocking you to the ground, and you break off, but feel your shoulder has been bruised, or worse. You recover, but do not have enough time to distinguish what attacked you. (-S:15)

2] You venture in the center and feel sudden drips of water land on your head. You notice the crevice does shine it's last bit of light, but reveals a ceiling full of corpses hanging from their feet, their arms looking as if they are reaching for the earth. The sight knocks you off your feet, and you feet a rather sickening feeling, then you figure out the corpses are wearing Rove guard armor, and even Burkewood Ranger armor from the once outlaws. You get back up and must keep going, to find out what could do such harm.

3] You take the right path and venture into the darkness. You suddenly trip over an obstacle, and hear trinkling all around you. In the darkness, you slide your hands to whatever the source of the noice was, and feel a round coin. You realize you found a pile of dolornes and in excitement you feel for more and inspect every inch of the path. You walk away with much more weight in your pockets. (+20D)

You continue onward, and with luck, realize the cave is not a cave, but one of the many naturally formed entrances that eroded to lead way to Goldthane. But judging by the architecture, and the lack of it, you realize these are only the outskirts, and not any significant landmarks. But you continue to venture in anyway to find out what mysteries may lie in these ruins. You notice that there are torches along some of the walls, which couldn't have been burning all these centuries. But you start to distinguish that you're in some sort of common ground between what look like some old homes made of stone, but the ceiling of the earth crushed the upper roofs. You begin taking a look in all the shops and find skeletons, and old dusted and ragged clothing, but no signs of any significant artifacts, but rather some dolornes (+25D). But as you step out you see something, but it's already staring at you.
B) You see a beast, with three crab-like legs, and wide arms, with a slender back. It's head was slim and revealed eyes on the top of it's head, it's circular eyes black as night.
You ready yourself, then notice there's a strange staff in it's arm, and suddenly a string of cobweb, sharp and strong enough to burst right through the ceiling, and crumpling away back towards the entrance. As you prepare to strike, you notice suddenly a small force of Rove guards and Burkewood rangers start staggering at you, with weapons in hand. You realize they are corpses, but now are possessed under the creature's command. You remember this creature now; an Ozugah, a cave dwelling species. Now is the time to decide!
