'I'm sorry dear, but I really don't need another employee' the lady responds

'Oh, that's okay, thanks anyways' I say my head hanging low

'Hey, tell you what, there's a small place not far away on 강남대로 street called "Onix Café" at I'm sure you can find something there' she says smiling

'Really?! Thank you so much! Have a nice day!' I say walking towards the door

'You too sweetheart, I hope you find what you're looking for' she says softly

'Bye' I say as I walk out of the restaurant

I wonder what she meant by that? Did she mean finding a job? Or-

Wait where am I going again?!

I bring up my phone to search up the place. Ah, Apgujeong-ro (disclaimer! I have no idea where this is) there it is, and it's only 5 minutes away from my apartment, yes! My day is suddenly getting better

~BANG! BANG! BANG! ppangya ppangya ppangya!~

'Yeoboseyo?' I answer, picking up my phone

'So? Did you get the job?' replies a certain nosy brat

'Well.... nope'

'Argh, that sucks. Ver's Garden Café is a really nice place to work at as well' he replies

'Don't worry though, the kind lady-manager sent me to this other cafe, and I'm on my way there' I say

'Knowing you're luck, you probably won't get accepted because of your ugly face' 

'YAH! Did you call just to dampen my day even more?! Or do you have something better to say?? You brat, don't criticise mah bootiful face!' 

'Ah, sorry, sorry Noona. I just wanted to say that if you still can't find anything, my friend offered me a job at his older sister's boutique, and maybe you can go to that' he says

'Youngjae, I know you're trying to help. But you know that kind go thing isn't for me' 

'But Noona! It's Jinyoung-hyung's older sister!'

'Sorry dongsaeng, you just gotta tell her no' I say

'CHOI. YEONG. JU. noona, this is like a big offer, you know how famous her brand is!' he keeps saying

'CHOI. YOUNG. JAE. dongsaeng, I said no. And that's final'

'Euuuhhhhh, NOONA!'

'Anyways, I'm here at the cafe, bye Youngjae, Lub u!'

I turn off the phone with a smile on my face. Then that smile faltering when I realise that if I don't get this job. YJ will not stop bugging me and will force me to go to that fashion job. Telling me "I told you so" every. single. day.
