Child of Thieves

~ On the Way to the Camp ~

I walked out of Manhattan. Another thing on my Never Do Alone list. I took five steps out of Manhatten and suddenly those monster dogs and cyclops attacked. I saw them and began to ran. I put the map in my pocket in my hoodie with my knife. I hadn't eat in two days and was a little sleepy so I didn't run so fast. A monster grabbed my backpack and I felt forwards. I got fast up, took my knife and killed it. I saw that my backpack was ripped in two so I ran.

All the monsters was gone after a while exept of this big monster. It had a man's body and a bull's head and hooves. I looked one time back at it again but that did I regret. I fell over a big stone and landed in the middle of the road. When I was about to get up, the monster picket me up so I was upside down. I lost my knife. I heard something behind the monster and the monster lost me. I landed on someone. I got off and saw it was a boy around my age. "I'm sorry." She said and helped him up. He had brown hair and hazel eyes. He held a bow and some arrows. "It's ok." He said as a girl shouted. "Elliot! A little help over here!?" I looked over at her. She had aburn hair and hazel eyes. Maybe his sister.. Anyways.. I ran and grabbed my knife. We worked as a team and killed it. It was a little strange because I actually wasn't so good at working in a team or yea.. But anyways.. The monster turned to golden dust as usual. I took my knife on my belt and walked to them. "Hey." The girl said. "Hi." I said. "You okay?" She said. I nodded. "So where are you going?" Elliot asks. "Was going to this camp named Camp Half-Blood. What about ya?" I ask. "Same." He says.

We started walking next to the road. "I'm Abbey Geller and this is my brother Elliot by the way." She said. I though. "I'm Maddie." I say. They looked a little like me. We talked a little and that. Four minuts awkward silence and then these dogmonsters I met before I came to Manhattan came running to us. Seven of them. One jumped on Elliot but Abbey killed it fast with her sword. Six. I grabbed my knife and started to try killing them but one jumped on me so I lost my knife many feets away. Another jumped on Elliot and Abbey got surrounded of the other four. Suddenly this girl with brown hair comes in and kills the monster on Elliot, then me. We got up and I got my knife again. I stabbed one of the monsters around Abbey. Elliot shoot another. The girl killed another and Abbey killed the last one.

I looked up at the girl. "Hey." I said. "Hi." The girl answered. "What was those things?" I ask. "Hellhounds." The girl answered. Elliot and Abbey came too. "I'm Maddie, this is Elliot and that is Abbey by the way." I said. "I'm Lucy." She said. I looked in her eyes. It wasn't one color. Her eyecolor switched all the time. I desided to don't look in her eyes because it would just get me unconcentrated, so I put my knife back on my belt. "So why are you here?" Abbey ask. "I came from a camp in Long Island Sounds. Just walked around.." Lucy said. "Ok. We're going to that camp so will you come with us?" Elliot asks. "Sure." She says and we walks towards the camp.
