Mike didn't have time to prepare for the date like he had done yesterday, as he was still in his clothes he had worn for his work day. He would take a shower once he would get home, for now, he was just happy that he had managed to buy groceries to cook dinner for Chester, and that the bags weren't taking much space on his bike since he could put them after the handles. He had seen the young man this morning and they had both been overly happy to see each other again.
"Still on for tonight?" Mike had asked after Chester had kissed him.
This was a new feeling for the both of them and Mike felt like he wasn't the only one with a racing heart right now.
"Of course! I can't wait... Are we going to go out again?" the blonde man asked with a small voice and Mike knew that it would be too much for Chester to go out two days in a row.
"No, we'll go to my place tonight, if that's okay with you?"
Chester smiled so brightly, Mike was sure his heart was about to combust.
He finally arrived at Chester's place and took his grocery bags with him as he took the elevator since it was faster than running the stairs to the blonde's floor.
Before he could even knock at the door, it swung open and Chester jumped in his arms, kissing his whole face until he kissed his lips slowly, taking his time to taste the other's mouth.
"Wow, what a reception!" Mike chuckled as he kissed his lover's nose. "How did you know I was here?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I heard the elevator and I knew it was you!" Chester beamed, not bothering to hide his excitement through his voice or shiny eyes.
Mike took a minute to just admire the beauty in front of him and got out of breath by the stunning looks of the blonde. He was wearing gray jeans and a white shirt with a black leather jacket, in his feet he wore combat boots. Mike had to hold on the door frame to not fall on his ass.
"Ches... you look-"
"Is it bad? I mean, I tried to look good for you because you're so nice and beautiful and I wanted to look good too so you could have a good looking boyfriend and-" Chester started to babble but Mike kissed him to interrupt his ramble.
"You look stunning, I've never seen anyone more beautiful." Mike assured him with a smile and just then he realized that Chester had called him his boyfriend and therefore asked, "did you call me your... boyfriend?"
"I... y-yes, s-sorry." The blonde looked down with a pout on his lips, waiting for a complaint from his lover, but instead, he received a hug. A tight, warm hug.
"Don't be sorry, I would love to be your boyfriend." He smiled and held Chester's hand in his. "Shall we get going, mister?" He wiggled his brows playfully and Chester giggled, grabbing his keys and locking the door before going with the half Asian.
"What are we going to do tonight?" asked the blonde man as he put on the helmet that Mike was handing to him.
"That's a surprise, Ches, you're gonna have to wait and see." The older man pouted, which produced a loud laugh out the half Asian's lips. "You are way too cute when you do that."
Chester blushed at the compliment before he sat on the bike, waiting for Mike to hop on. Even if he had been scared the first time he had gotten on the motorcycle with Mike, he couldn't deny that he had been waiting for the chance to ride with the other again. The wind blowing in his face and the fact that he could hold on tightly to the half Asian really made him feel more free.
A part of him couldn't help but think that dating Mike wasn't going to change anything to his life and that he'd forever be unable to connect with other people after all, but another part of him wanted to trust that maybe Mike would help him to heal.
