Cleo sat at the lunch table with Maya, Riley, and Farkle. Instead of listening to them talk about Lucas, she was writing her note/letter to J.M. She finished Romeo and Juliet and kept the note from him on her mirror for a reminder. She actually packed the note in her bags to take to with her.
She had trouble figuring out where to even start since she was writing to a total stranger. "This is like an off-brand pen pal..." Cleo said quietly. After letting out a breathe she going to start writing until Maya tapped her.
"Hey, Cleopatra, we need you to try and stop this Missy thing. Farkle didn't work."
"Cleopatra?"
"You call me Rapunzel. Now get over there and get Lucas back."
Cleo blinked two times at Maya, staring at her for a minute before sighing and getting up. She started to walk in Missy's direction before stopping. She thought about what she HASN'T told her friends and shook her head.
The truth would have to eventually come out.
She strolled up to Lucas with her hands in her pockets, tapping him as Missy glared at her. Lucas smiled when he saw Cleo, turning fully around to talk to her. "Cleo, you look nice. What's up?"
"Uh, thanks. Um, I was kinda sent over here in honor of Riley, but I don't think I should be the one over here."
"What do you mean?"
Cleo shared a small smile and walked back over to the table that Riley was at. She grabbed Riley's hand and dragged her over to the table. She looked between the two before turning back to Lucas.
"Cleo?"
"Riley has something she wants to say to you."
She stepped back and let Riley and Lucas talk, moving towards Missy, who was glaring at her. Cleo rolled her eyes and used a certain finger to "wipe" something off her face, laughing when she saw Missy mouth drop and turn back towards Lucas and Riley.
She walked back over to Maya with a thumbs up before quickly dropping them and hearing the words, 'food fight,' come from Missy's mouth. She groaned as she watched Cory go over give detention to Missy AND Lucas.
"This world just WANTS to give us a hard time."
With that, she tossed her food in the garbage, grabbed her notebook, and went to Cory's class. She waited patiently for him to get there, writing her note to J.M to help the time pass quicker.
