"Okay," I replied with a sigh of relief.
"Let us take you to the dining hall now," Lydia said walking up a different path.
The path leads up to this huge wooden pavilion. It had flowers and vines growing up the poles. There is a fire in the middle like the major camp only its way smaller. There is a huge table in the right corner of the pavilion with pictures of people on it. There are tons of flowers on it as well.
"What is that table over there for?" I asked.
Lydia glumly sighed, "Its the table where we put our fallen soldiers or just remembrance of campers in general."
She picked up a picture, it looked older. The person in the picture looked very young. I had a feeling it was a relative.
She set it down, "Anyway, our food is made in the building over there, old campers volunteer and make the food."
We walked down another path behind the pavilion to see a huge battle area and an amphitheater.
"Those are the training grounds and the amphitheater. Those are both classes you will take." Lydia said as she started to walk off.
I quickly tried to follow her, everything was so much to take in. We walked back to the cabins. Once again, you could see all of the beautiful cabins. She led me to his cabin that had the exact same symbol above my head. There were clouds all around it and its aura made me a little drowsy.
"This is the Morpheus cabin," Lydia said. " It is one of the first cabins built here."
"So this is my father cabin?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"Yes and you'll get used to the aura," Lydia assured me. "Anyway, next to you is the Eros cabin and the Iris cabin."
"Cool," I replied.
"Everything you need will be provided," Lydia continued. "Bed, blanket, pillows, toiletries, places to do your work, etc. If you need anything, feel free to ask a neighbor or my cabin is over there. It's a pleasure to have you here Chip."
"Thank you," I nodded.
She handed me the key to my cabin and was off. So this is my life now? Living in a cabin in worship of my dad that I don't even know. Just great. I opened the door to the cabin, it was very homey. There was a fireplace, a small bed, a couch, and a desk. I set my key on the desk and sat on the couch and sighed. Although it was homey, it wasn't home. Home is where I am with my mom, eating our take-out Chinese, and talking about our day. I felt a tear roll down my face. My dad has cursed me, my mom, my family, everything. I have left my whole life behind to live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. It's not like anyone is gonna accepted me here, no one has ever accepted me. I need fresh air. I got out of my cabin and sat on the porch. There was no one around considering it was class time. More tears ran down my face, the drowsiness from the clouds was making my eyes shut.
Eventually, my eyes closed and I appeared somewhere dark. There was completely nothing, just emptiness.
"Hello?" I yelled.
Nothing.
I fell to my knees, "Where am I?"
Suddenly, a speck of light appeared. It came closer and closer til a man with was standing right in front of me. He had wispy, gray hair and a pale face. He wore a brown trench coat with a gray turtleneck and worn jeans. He looked like a movie director.
"Chip Isaac Days," The man smiled as he kneed down to me. "How you've grown so much."

I'm changing the day to every Tuesday's so I can write on Mondays instead of posting on Mondays. Also, I am sorry everything is being very slow I just wanted to have these two chapters explaining the camp. Next chapter I promise will be longer and less boring!
