Deku x Kacchan: Forever Lasting

The two boys circled eachother in the arena. Their classmates cheered, eager to see what would happen next. Kacchan had spent years waiting for this moment, the moment where he would FINANLY rise above that damn nerd. But after yesterday night..for the first time he was he was doubtful of crushing his rival. He peeked at Deku, surprised to see the same unsureness on his face. Suddenly, both turned to hear the All Might's voice loud and clear. The match... had begun.

"K-Kacchan." Deku's voice was shaking. "Y-you can win this one ok?" Seeing the innocent earnesty on his face made Kacchan turn red. He swore under his breath. "Were you just screwing with me yesterday? With your...confession?" A sad smile grew on Deku's face as he replied. "When have I ever lied to you Kacchan?"

Both continued walking around the other. In the seats above, their classmates watched from behind the glass screen. "What the hell are they doing" Todorikiya murmured, bangs falling over his eyes. All Might shifted in his seat, getting bored. "Boys" he spoke into the microphone "either start using ur DAMN QUIRK OR LEAVE THIS CLASS"

Back in the arena

Kacchan started sweating, refusing to look at Deku. Hearing the warning, Deku started rambling. "Kacchan why do you hate me? I-is it something I did? When we were kids? I really don't-"

"Will you shut UP?" Kacchan's eyes were flaming. He had never felt so exposed...so vulnerable. This green-eyed boy standing in front of him-god he was so cute and perfect. At that moment, the ash blonde, seemingly indestructible, realized the heart-breaking truth. "Deku I don't hate you." He said quietly. Tears leaked out of his angry eyes he forged on. "Even when were kids... I was so scared you were gonna surpass me because you were so GOD DAMN SWEET AND AMAZING." Kacchan was oblivious to his hands beginning to heat up-"I-I'VE LOVED YOU SINCE WE WERE KIDS YOU NERD"- the fireball leaped out of his hands toward an unexpecting Deku. The mowmnt went as if in slow motion. By the time the flames reached Deku, it was too late. The blast slammed the boy to the wall, the beautiful eyes Kacchan loved...closed.

"Dekuuu!" he screamed. The ash blonde scrambled to his feet, his only focus getting to the green-haired boy collapsed on the floor. "No...Deku im sorry! IM SORRY IZUKU!" A wretched scream arose in his throat. The ash blonde felt defeated as he wept, holding onto Deku's body.

"Young Bakugo." The All Might materialized from behind them. "Give him to me, I'll take him to-" "No." Kacchan raised a tear-stained face to look at him. "I'll take him." He gently draped his childhood friend over his shoulder, racing to the infirmary.
