a soul like verona has wondered the earth and thought about everything.
she's pondered over the destructive concept of love, the unrealistic idea of soulmates and what her significant other in the future would be like.
she told me that she hoped for someone with a sense of humour, who paid attention to the little things, with a similar mindset and that's when she looked at me from across our apartment with a giddy smile. i never expected to fall in love this deeply- is what left her lips.
the same lips that i woke up to, went to sleep to, heard sinful sounds from and heard three special words from.
our tired eyes met across the space, my smile matching hers. you don't have to hope anymore, i'm here and i'm not going anywhere .. because the here and now is perfect with you.
