Close Call

After talking to Demi, Linh and Jordan arrived. They helped me get the kids into their car seats and we drove to the mall. New York was big but boy, do I miss Dallas. Linh put her music on and Skyscraper came on.

The boys started to smile and make noises.

That's momma!? Is that momma guys? -Jordan asked.

Momma! -OMG. I couldn't believe my ears. Eddie actually said his first word !

I took my phone out and recorded him saying it over and over again.

I sent it to Demi and she responded with, 'my sweet boy!'

After a while, we got to the mall and we did some shopping around. Jordan was holding Eddie all day while Linhyy held Rick. It felt nice to have some help. She's only been gone for three days. But boy, was it hard !

So, when does she come back? -Linhyy asked.

She's got about a week left. But the boys and I are going to visit her on Friday when she performs with 1D. Wanna come?

OMG yes ! Jordan will be with his friends anyways, so yeah ! Duh !

Okay! Then it's settled. Were gonna go see my love.

Demi's POV:

Man, I miss my family so much. It's just, ugh. I miss them. Anyways, today is the day I get to perform with the boys and I'm so excited !!

*Niall walks in and winks at Demi*

Hey, babygirl. I just wanted to tell you that the show got canceled. Harry got sick and he can't really sing so we have to wait until he's better. So we have two days off until the actual show.

-he says all cute with his accent. Wait, did he just wink at me !?

*avoids eye contact*

(3 Hours Later)

I've been sleeping all day and I just woke up. I had three missed calls from Marisa... Well, that's weird. We're not even friends anymore. Something must be seriously wrong.

*phone rings 'Selena 😍👑'

Hello? Selena, what's up?

-Oh, man. She's crying...

(Phone convo)

S: Dems, Justin and Marisa got shot ! She was trying to get a hold of you like an hour or two ago to get you to come to my party next week but I couldn't call or text. Then J went to her house to pick her up to buy presents and then someone shot them..!

D: OMG. Where are y'all ?

Are you guys still in Dallas ?

S: No, were in LA.

D: Okay, I have two days off. I'm on my way. Please call Annie, and let her know okay ?

S: Okay Demi, thank you so much !

D: Always baby. I'll see you soon.

(In LA)

Selena's POV:

I can't believe this is actually happening. This is all so surreal to me. Justin has been my bestfriend, my boyfriend, my enemy at times.. But I love him with all that I have. I can't deny that. At least not to myself.

I'm so scared for them both. Marisa is in so much pain. She just got shot from the front on her right arm. But Justin.. He got his back spine shot.. So he might be paralyzed from the waist down. Oh, no. My poor baby.

I've been at the hospital for hours. A little while after, Demi ran inside hugging me. She just held me. We don't even have to say anything.

We go to the room where both Justin and Marisa are in. We go to our bedsides. I go to Justin and hold his hand. He's not awake yet. He's sleeping. But he's in pain. So I can't do anything but hold his hand.

I need him back in my life.

(Hey guys ! So sorry!! I've been going through a few changes in my life and I just didn't have the time to write a chapter. But I think it's only fair for me to be honest with you guys. Okay, here's the thing. About three weeks ago, I came out as a transgender. I'm a ftm. Which is female to male. I'm gonna go on T. Or as Testosterone. What will happen is, I'll grow facial hair. My voice will get deeper, and my facial structure and body will look more like a male. I'm getting top surgery later in a few years. But yeah, that's me.. Like Demi once said, 'Now I've found who I am, there's no way to hold it in. No more hiding who I wanna be, this is me..' Thank you. I can't change my name here but please, I'm gonna go by my name Andy, or Alec.
