I decided to start of this weekend on a good note concidering all that's happened. It's been two weeks since the beach party, and Pearl still hasn't talked to me. She hasn't said a single word! All she does now is hang out with Connor and Mandy while im stuck with Harley. And don't get me wrong, Harely's amazing. It's just sometimes I wish things could go back to the way they used to be.
I take a seat as close as the water as possible. Salt licks at my bare feet and I giggle. I look up at the rising sun and smile out at the sea green and sparkling blue water. "You won't judge me for my scars. " I say to the ocean as I shoove my hoodie out of my face and off my head. A warm  breeze swishes though my straw like hair and I sigh.
Why can't every day be like this? A cool metel feeling suddenly touches my skin and I look down at what had hit me. It's a ring. It's blue with silver outling it. I give it a puzzled expression as I pick it up and examine it. I wonder who's this is? I shrug as I slide it onto my ring finger. A flashing light hits my eyes, but only for a split second. What the...
If it's lost then I guess I will claim it, I think as I stand up and begin to walk to
back to my house. But when I enter the door and walk into the bathroom to take a shower I notice my reflection in the mirror is not the me im used to. I mean...I see me, except my all to noticable scar is gone. My face is smooth and clear, shiny looking even. Like a models.
I rub my palms over my face in shock. "No way." I whisper so lightly. And then I scream. "Honey, what's..." My mom opens the bathroom door, a frying pan in her right hand. When I turn around to look at her and she see's my perfect face she drops the pan and huffs. "June! Where? Where is your scar?" I look in the mirror once again. Panic rising in my throut, it's as if I can feel it.
"I don't know..." I say with suprising calmness. I hold up my left hand. "I just found this ring and put it now. I think it has something to do with my face." My mother steps an incher closer to me. "That's impossible. Try taking it off then." I take a deep breath as I twist it off my finger which it thankfully comes off as easy as butter. I don't bother turning around to look at my reflection, im to scared though im not sure of what. "Is it gone still?" My mom's eyes bulge and she gasps. It's back."
                                                                        ...
I kept the ring on, and decided to show it off to Harley. I knock on her door, it only takes a second for it to open. When she see's my clear face she gasps just as my mother but louder.
"Wow. What the..." I twirl my hair with joy. Trying my best not to look to smug about it. "Cool, huh? It's the ring I think." She nods and tells me that it is amazing. "Can I try it on?" She suddenly reaches for it but I yank it away. So fast in hard that the jewel cuts her finger.
I watch in horror at what I had done as blood begins to ooze from the cut. I put my hand to my mouth. Did I just do that. "Im so sorry." She shrugs but I can see in her eyes how scared and angry she is at me.
I sigh. "Im just gonna go. See you later?" I ask her, half exspecting her to answer and half not to. She looks down at the finger that she's clenching then smiles weakly. "Mabye. Bye." She then shuts the door behind her, leaving me standing alone.
As I male my way down her steps and on the road I notice a few kids riding bikes but not just any kids. Pearl, Mandy, and Connor. What is with Connor hanging with them?
I turn around and begin walking the opposite way but it's to late. I hear Pearl holler from behind me,"June, come join us." She had seen me. I wonder how fast I can run?
