"Hay shads want to go to the park?" Asked a blue hedghog at the age 6 as he smiled happily to me.

"Sure let's go" I said happily, he then said "race ya there" he then ran out the door with me following.

Hi I'm shadow an the blue hedghog was sonic, he's my best friend an there was nothing that could separate us. Until I had to leave with my parents, I was very sad that I had to leave my best friend but I know we would be best friends no matter what.

But when i told sonic he was very sad, he even started to cry, i hugged him so I could sooth him. I was even crying as well i didn't want to leave, sonic was the world to me. But I had no choice .

"*sob* d-do you p-promise that-that you at-will co-come *sob* back r-right" he said as tears still fell from his green emerald eyes.

"I promise" i said as i smiled still crying. We then separated are hug I then went into the car, my parents then drove away from my now old house sonic was just waving by as he was still in tears.

-9 years later-

I slowly opened my eyes to see that my dad was tapping my shoulder to wake me up. I then got up an grabbed my bag from above my seat.

I then got out of the plane an I looked around I was back, an sonic I will finally see you after 9 years I can't wait.

Once j got into the taxi along with my father, the only thing that was on my mind was sonic. Over the years I have only grow a big loving feeling towards him.

I'm just cant wait to see him an tell him how j feel.

I slowly open my eyes regreating that I did as a bright light blinded me. I then got up an saw that my covers was open from the window an that the sun was shining OP my bed.

'Uh i hate mornings' I said to myself as I then got if my bed an noticed that I had a text message on my phone.

??: hay babe, how are you?
Sonic: I'm good you
??:..Good um I have to cancel are date later today i. Sorry
Me: oh...it okay I understand
???: thank you babe I'll pay you back okay

*sigh* he always cancels are dates, j then went downstairs to see that my door was wide open. I was freaking out.

So I slowly an carefully went to the kitchen making sure no one was there an got a pan. I held It in my hands as j walked to the living room someone popped out of nowhere an I hit him in the face with out thinking, making him fall down as he held his now brocken nouse.

As I then look at who it was I couldn't believe my eyes..........

"Shadow???"
