V's POV

I was speechless I knew I shouldn't have drank so much wine. Now there was a possibility I was going to get fired I was so stupid I was acting so immature. I got up from the couch ignoring the headache that was starting to become a problem I quickly got in the shower to wash off the smell and quickly got dressed in my black office dress and black high heels and some red lip stick and quickly got my bag and keys and out the door letting my hair air dry and I got to the office.
my nerves were high. I really couldn't afford losing my jog right now I don't even know what I would do. I let all those thoughts go away as I entered the building and into the elevator to my floor. I set my bag down on my desk and straighten my dress out as I knocked on the door my nerves getting the best of me I heard a faint "come in" I closed my eyes and let out a sigh and open the door. I walked in Mr.Ray was leaning against the front of his desk his arms crossed with a blank face. I walked in slowly and held my head high avoiding eye contact "sit" was all he said and I sat on the couch that was in front of him I felt ashamed of myself. I hadn't been late once in my almost 6 months working here "I hope this won't happen again Ms. heavens"
"Oh no sir never again"
"All right you can get back to work"
"Thank you sir would you like me to get your coffee sir?"
"Yes the usual"
and with that he turned and I got up from the couch and out the room. I closed the door behind me and let out breathe I didn't know I was holding and went to the mini coffee set up we had and made Mr.rays coffee, black with one sugar. I headed back to Mr.Rays office and lightly knocked on the door "just a second " I waited, the door open and William came out. William is married with one of my friends Amy, they have a one year old named Tommy, William has a towel company and is paired with The Rays.
"oh hey William I wasn't expecting you here I didn't see you on the schedule"
"Oh no Van I just came by to invite Adam to are anniversary"
"Oh yes it's yours and Amy's 2 end  anniversary I wouldn't miss it for the world!"
Will chuckled at my excitement "I know you wouldn't Van, Amy would be crushed "
I nod in agreement "see you then and tell Amy to call me."
"Of course Van" with that and a light pat on the back he headed for the elevators. William always refuses to call me "v" or my full name he stuck with "Van" but I like the nickname.
I walked into the office which was strangely empty Mr.Ray was probably in the bathroom I walked to his desk and set the coffee down I turned around and took a step forward what I wasn't expecting was for Mr.Ray to be so close so I tripped over my feet and fell forward witch caught Mr.Ray off guard and both of us flying to the floor I landed on top of Mr.Ray with a yelp I lifted my head off his chest and his face was only a few inches from mine I could feel his breath on my face I looked in to his eyes and I could feel myself leaning in.
