Chapter 1

I am sitting in gym class waiting for the rest of the class to finish writing there health test. You are on your phone when you get a twitter notification from Shawn Mendes. The tweet reads "having a impromptu meet up, come to Dundas square at 6 and I am filming a documentary and might preform a couple songs!"

I look over at my best friend Gabby from across the gym knowing she got the same notification. She just smilies back at me and I knew she got it. The bell rang 10 minutes later and she ran over to me " Oh my God, Em we have to go" she said with a giant smile on her face. I had a good feeling about this. The last time we tried to meet Shawn it was so crowded we could barely see him. We walked home from school talking about it the whole way. As soon I as I got to Gabby's I called my mum

"Mum shawn mendes is having a meet up at 6 at Dundas square and I have to go he just tweeted it so I don't think there will be a lot of girls please can I go I will be home before dark!" I took a breathe, I have never talked so fast in my life. I heard my mum laughing and I knew the answer.

" Of course you can go, just keep in touch." said my mum.

"Yay" I squealed.

I hung up my cellphone and started getting ready we only had half am hour before we had to leave if we wanted to make it on time. I quickly touched up my makeup, re braided my side braid and didn't bother changing. I figured leggings and a VS Pink hoodie wasn't the worst outfit and I didn't really have time to change anyway. As soon as we were ready to go we ran to the subway and off we went. The nerves were building inside of me. What if there were 60 girls there already? What if we were late? What if we embarrass ourselves and are super early? What if he cancelled it and we don't even know because we have no reception? Endless thoughts were running through my head. I knew Gabby and I had concert tickets to see him at his first ever real concert tomorrow but why not him the day before as well. When we got to our stop we ran off. When we got to the meeting place my heart dropped.
