The moment

Chapter 2

"Where is he" I say frantically. " I swear if we missed him I'm going to cry."

I check the time and thank god we are actually early. Gabby and I wait around for about 20 minutes thinking every tall brown haired boy is Shawn. Finally I see him and his guitar walking toward a building in Dundas square. I squeal "Gabby I see him!"

"Where?" she replies as we make our way over to him. " Where is he?" she asks dumbly not recognizing he is standing behind her. I point behind her and her eyes widen as she turns and smiles.

We followed Shawn and his manager into a covered building because it was raining. As he sat down on a ledge he pulled out his guitar and started to sing " As long as you love me" by Justin Bieber. There were only around 10 girls watching him as he sang in perfect pitch the rest of the song. When he was done he asked us how we were doing and I almost melted. One by one his manager called people outside. Gabby leaned over to me and asked what was happening. I wasn't quite sure so I just shrugged, keeping my eyes locked on Shawn. When he started his next song I got a tap on the shoulder. It was another fan "they want you outside" she explained to me. I gave Gabby my things and went outside. Shawn's manager told me they were filming a fan video about Shawn and asked me to explained why I liked his videos. The tape starting recording "Why do you like watching Shawn's videos so much?"

"I think he is super talented and really relatable!" I responded. I wanted to say he was super adorable as well but I didn't want to seem weird. They told me I could go and get my friend. I went inside and told Gabby to go out. When I looked back at Shawn I noticed him looking at me. I have him a quick smile and looked away. Did he really just look at me or am I imagining things?

"Is it cold out there?" Shawn asked.

I looked around. Was he talking to me? I just came from outside so I guess he was

"Ya it is." Is all I could manage. Shawn Mendes just talked to me

Once everyone was called video taped and shawn did two other songs, we took pictures. When I went to take a picture I was so nervous. What do I say to him? Everyone was watching me take a picture with him!

"Hi" I said when I went up to him.

"Hi how are you?" Shawn replied

"I'm great! how are you?"

" I'm good thanks"

He wrapped his long arm around my shoulder and we took a picture.

After Gabby got her picture we all went outside. It stopped raining by then. I felt Gabby nudge me.

"What?" I quickly responded.

Gabby just nodded up. I looked up quickly and his manager was walking over to us.
