Hurt, bitterness, confusion-
Every emotion known to man, that causes pain and heartache,
She feels them but fears to share;
Terrified of being discriminatively berated for her struggles in life
Her whole story hidden and kept in a bottle.
She wishes things weren't so complicated,
Yet she's just existing,
Accepting life's blow
full throttle.
Punished by a drunken father
For issues beyond her-
A mother who suffered from cardiomyopathy,
After delivery. Accused, yet she was a newborn,
unknowing of the situation;
She had accepted what she thought was fate,
Until she met HIM!
He taught her self-acceptance and how to love-
With this she could love genuinely love him back,
and loving him she did;
She rejoiced, thanking lord for hearing her internal cries.
Being set free from the pains that held her captive;
No more of her cruel father's abuse,
Happy at the thought of no longer being used.
She was free from her nightmare,
Away from its origin and
Out with her saviour far away,
In the sun, basking in the moment.
