Weak or Strong?

Killua's pov

I'm Killlua. My family is the poorest in town. Despite of that, I still try to have fun. I have 1 sister and 3 brothers. My mom is blind and my dad is physically weak. I'm the strongest out of all my siblings, but that's only because I go out to run daily.

My brother, Milluki, says that I shouldn't keep on running because it's only a waste of time. I totally disagree with that. We may be the poorest, but I find ways to make my family survive.

I'm a really great thief, and I'm proud of it. Not because I enjoy it, but because it makes my sister, Alluka, smile.

Killua's pov

I was out in the forest, doing my usual running. But this was the day that Alluka accompanied me. It doesn't usually happen, so I'm really grateful.

While I was grinning like a fool, thinking about these things, Alluka suddenly said, " Onee-chan, there's somebody here". I scanned the trees and the bushes. "Dammit, I said, friend or foe?". Alluka looked at me as if I was asking a crazy question. "Of course they are." she said.

We kept our breaths steady and our feet in place, ready to run. But nobody was coming out. 'Perhaps Alluka thought it was a human?', a part of me thought. 'But, no. Alluka would never lie to me.', another part of me argued. I looked behind me to see Alluka, concentrating. 'Better not bother her then'.

As a few excruciating minutes passed, Alluka finally spoke: "I think they're gone...for now". "W-who were they?" , I said, stuttering. I looked at our surroundings, to make sure Alluka had been right.

The forest was calm, like nothing ever happened. But I know it happened, because I saw the look on Alluka's eyes: fear. She knows that our family is very weak. That's why she takes her time training and meditating once a week.

As I averted my eyes back to Alluka, she looked almost different. Calm, even. I didn't mind the feeling that Alluka was keeping something from me. Something...important. "So, Alluka. Is everything alright?", I asked curiously.

Alluka looked around the place before replying, " Onii, I think you should leave home". 'Huh?! But why? Did I do something wrong? Did I say something wrong?'.

As these thoughts were running all over my brain, Alluka cleared her throat. I stopped thinking to let her speak. "Onii, let me explain. I have a feeling that someone is planning to assassinate you." "Nani?!! Why would someone want to assassinate me?"

"Don't you remember anything about our father's ties with other people?" Huh. Of course I remember those. Our father always told us about his lost fights, saying that we would help him.

"What about those?", I said, oblivious to what was happening. My sister glared at me with intensity. "It's because your the strongest of us, Alluka said, still glaring, Baka!". I stared at my sister, mind full of questions.

When my sister realized that I was waiting for her to explain, she looked at me with a face that said, 'Idiot, don't you get it?!' I felt like those words were supposed to come out, but instead she said, "I've known this for a while now. That you were being followed. I never said it out loud because I was scared that they would get you."  "Who?" I asked.
"The Phantom Troupe."
