Killua's pov
I jolted awake to the sound of pans clashing together. Ouch. I felt a sharp pain on my head. There was a little bit of dried blood but...
As I looked around, I didn't particularly see anything. It was really dark. Where am I?
I realised that I was strapped to a chair. I struggled to get out but it was no use. I was too weak.
I was suddenly greeted by a voice. A strangely familiar one too.
"Ah. You are finally awake." a stranger said, coming out from nowhere. He was black-haired and wore a suit. He was familiar.
Though, I'm sure I've never met him- then, it hit me. All the things that have happened in the last couple hours or so. How many hours has it been?
"You've been out for a day. You hit your head on the way here." Leorio said, seemingly reading my mind.
Ah. So THAT'S where my wound came from. I thought they had beaten me. "I'm sorry that we weren't able to clean you up" The seemingly old man said.
"No, its fine. Could you please untie me?" Leorio looked at me suspiciously. "Are you sure that you wont come attack any of us?"
I laughed at him. I know had a new interest in this man. He was overestimating me. Ha. That's a first.
"Of course I won't. If I was really that strong, I could've killed you already.
The black-haired man looked at me thoughtfully. After a few minutes of obvious debating, he decided to agree to release me. "Just wait here, I'll just get Pika and Gon. The keys are with them." He explained.
"Yeah", I said, rolling my eyes, "Its not like I can go anywhere." However, Leorio did not catch my sarcasm. He nodded then exited the room we were in, leaving me all alone.
Gon's pov
"Leorio! You're still alive!" I exclaimed loudly. It has been 30 minutes since Leorio entered the room where the white-haired boy was kept.
"Of course I'm alive! The boy was harmless." I nodded to his response.
"About him..." Leorio started. "What is it?" Kurapika asked, voice full of concern.
Our friend looked at us convincingly. "He says that he wants to be let go."
"What?! What do you mean, Leorio?" Pika said, standing up. "Calm down, Kurapika. I'm sure Oreo has an explanation to all of this." I said reassuringly.
Kurapika responded with a huff and murmured about being the only person being sensible here.
I then looked at Leorio expectantly. "Yeah sure, let me tell you."
***Gon's pov
Leorio then started to talk and explain about the situation. Both of us listened very intently. Especially Kurapika.
As the story ended, the two of us understood. "Leorio, sorry I got mad..." Kurapika said, slightly blushing.
Kurapika's reaction made Leorio blush too. Then, both of their reactions made me laugh so hard I fell on my butt. "Ow, I said, whining, That really hurt."
Kurapika quickly changed from a blushing bean to a serious, yet concerned mother.
"Are you alright, Gon?" I simply nodded at him.
"No need to worry, Kurapika. I've got strong bones. I was just surprised by the impact." I slowly reassured him.
He let out a big sigh. "All right, tell me when it hurts, okay?"
I smiled from ear to ear. "Yup!"
Time skip brought to you by my terrible writing.
After cleaning up, the three of us went down to the basement where Killua was kept.
It was fairly quiet inside. Dark too. Leorio then proceeded to turn on the lights.
"Ah. You're finally here." Killua's voice greeted us.
I looked at him sternly. "After a while of talking, me and my friends have decided to release you. But first, we are going to ask you a few questions."
Killua's pov
After hearing that from Gon, I started to get a little bit nervous. What would he interrogate me about? Personal background? Basic stuff?
It didn't matter. All that mattered was to answer his stupid questions then leave. But where would I go? Are the Spiders still finding me?
"Um... Hello. Earth to Killua. Is anybody there?" Gon interrupted while knocking on my head.
I looked at him, clearly annoyed. And I made sure to show him that too.
"Oh. Gomen. I didn't realise that I have over stepped your boundaries. Forgive me." The green-haired boy said.
How can one person be so casual then suddenly be formal? I asked myself.
"Anyways, why are you here? In Whale Island, I mean." Blondie said.
"Well, the Spiders were chasing me so I ran away from home and ended up being here." I responded.
Blondie nodded. "Killua, do you have any idea where they might be and what they might be doing?"
"OH HELL IF I KNOW. I've been here for who nows how long and it seems like I won't be leaving anytime soon!" I answered back.
Blondie was now glaring daggers at me. Oh, shoot. I seriously thought that I was going to be stabbed by Kurapika's knife-like eyes, but the Leorio interrupted.
"Now, now. Killua be chill. And Kurapika. Let the man be. Everything he has said so far is true." Kurapika pouted and said, "How would you know?"
Leorio then looked at Gon, signaling for help. Gon got the message then stepped in. "Kurapika, I think Leorio is right. I'm not going against you or anything but so far, Killua has don nothing to us but answer some questions. Does that seem sinister to you?"
Kurapika lightly shook his head. "No, I don't think so."
"Well then that settles it. We're going to release Killua." Leorio said. Looking at Kurapika's fiery gaze, he then quickly added, "Before questioning him, of course."
He earned a nod from Kurapika. "So then, lets get talking."
