Killua's pov

Kurapika paced around the room, eyeing me. "What is your name?" I considered whether or not to speak the truth. It wouldn't hurt, so I decided to see where honesty would lead me to. "My name is Killua. Killua Zoldyck."

Kurapika nodded. "Where did you come from?" Oh no. This might endanger my family if these guys are assassins or something. I swallowed hard. "Somewhere in nowhere." I tried. The blonde then gave me a suspicious look. If looks could kill, I'd already be long gone.

"Be specific, please." I nodded. I did not want to get killed right now. "We live in a rural area. There's not much to learn. I want to tell you but I'm worried about my family."

The blonde sighed. He looked like he understood. "I see. Well, that can't be helped. Next question, what is your business here and how are you connected to The Spiders?"

"Well... I'm not really connected to them. It's just that..." Kurapika looked at me impatiently. "Stop stalling. It's just that what?" I looked at him, uncomfortable. "It's just that they're chasing me. So I left home and ended up here. I saw Feitan at the resturant so I ducked to the nearest table which was...yours."

He looked at me thoughtfully. He seemed to be analyzing the information. "Hmm. I see. Well, that explains it." He suddenly looked at me. Well I think that he was looking at me. It was kinda hard to see.

I was getting dreary. Everything was going blue and purple. "Hey... w-what is happening to me?" I said, words slurred. Blondie looked at me and said, "Don't worry everything's gonna be fine."

Gon's pov

It was getting late. Killua was still asleep. Killua. I liked how that word rolled out of my mouth. I tried to persuade Kurapika to not make him go to sleep but he didn't listen. He said that "It's for his own good. The boy has come a long way and is tired. He probably wouldn't go to sleep by himself anyways."

To which I responded to, "Well, the boy has a name." Kurapika just ignored my little comment. I really wish Kurapika would've asked more questions though... I'm really interested in Killua's life. He seems scared to talk. I wonder why.

I just hope that when he wakes up, he'll have a clearer mind to answer questions.

Killua's pov

I woke up to a room. It wasn't mine, I was sure of it. It was probably one of the people who got me that owned this. I looked around it. It was full of exercising equipment. Whomever owned this room must be really strong.

Suddenly, somebody knocked on the door. Cautiously, I said, "C-come in."

As the door opened, a person came into the room. I was relieved to see that it was only Gon. I wasn't sure why I was relieved though. It was probably just a mutual feeling.

"Um... Are you okay?" I jumped at the sudden voice. Oh crap, I forgot Gon was here. "Sure, I'm fine. I just got kidnapped by people I don't know and I've already been knocked out twice. Anybody would be alright if something like that happens to them." I said, voice seeping with sarcasm.

Gon looked at me apologetically. "Oh. I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to ask you such a stupid question. Of course, you wouldn't be alright. I mean if I was in your position I would also-"

Seeing that this would lead to nothing I interrupted. "Gon. Stop it. You dont need to be so apologetic." The boy looked at me, unsure whether to strike another conversation or not. After a few seconds or so, he finally said, "I'm sorry."

I smirked at him, he was obviously at loss for words. "There you go again. Is it a habit of yours?" He nodded. It looked like he was uncomfortable. "I.. Actually... Erm."

I laughed. He was cute when he was at loss for words. Gon looked at me. I guess the expression on my face was too hilarious. He laughed. He was laughing. It was the most beautiful sound I have heard. I would do anything to keep that smile safe.

"I probably need to go now." Said Gon, recovering from his laughs. He looked completely embarrassed. I didn't want him to go. I wanted him to be by my side forever. But, it seemed like fate had other plans.

So as Gon was about to go, I asked him, "Gon, what was the real reason that you came here? I'm sure that you didn't want to just awkwardly stand around."

Gon gave me a flustered face. He was heating up. It was obvious because of how he was so red. "I-I only wanted to see if you were fine." He said with a smile.

It was obvious that he was lying though. I let him slide for just this time. "If that was all, thank you for worrying for me. He nodded vigorously then left the room.

What was that all about???

Gon's pov

As I exited the room. I could feel heat rising up onto my cheeks. It was as if my cheeks weren't already red. I can't believe I stuttered like that. I barely even stutter! What am I the stutterer? I continued cursing myself while walking down to the kitchen.

"Gon, what are you doing?" A voice asked me. I was startled at first, but I soon realized that it was only Kurapika.

I thought for a while if I would explain the situation to him. I figured that he would probably not understand and that would lead to an argument so instead I said, "Oh. It's nothing I just forgot to do something."

Even though I have reassured him, he still wore a worried face. I was thankful for him. He and Leorio. Whenever I was alone, they were there for me.

I just wish I could open up to them.
