"Hey kid, you alright?" Susie asks the exhausted Lancer as they wearily walk throughout the windy fields.

Lancer denies her conclusion, "Mwah ha ha ha ha! Of course, why would I not be?" Susie shrugs if so then, guess she was getting a bit worried that his feet were sore from all the travelling.

"Well I guess I am a bit tired." Lancer stretches out his arms and legs. Susie shakes her head in disbelief. "Alright, kiddo. Let's sit down for a while."

They discover a spot near to them that was perfect for a brief meeting. Coincidentally, two neatly cut logs served as chairs and another enormous one to serve as a table.

Fair enough.

"We should plot our evil plan up ahead, those impatient heroes expect something big." She begins off as a starter.

"Ho ho ho! Yes, yes, we should!"

"Blargh, we should work on your evil laugh more. Look scary, be tough." Susie suggests, pushing him to be evilly encouraged. "You mean like this, MWA HAH HAH HAH HAH!"

Susie startles the moment Lancer tries to voice out an evil laugh attempt and from the sound of it, it's better than what he had. "Damn kid, that was perfect! Use that more often." Susie says in an affirming voice and grins at him with complete pride.

Lancer sticks his little tongue out, smiling. "Now, let's work on your fighting stances and close range sparring." Susie adds.

"Uhh.." Lancer doesn't get what Susie was talking about.

"I mean fight without your flaming tricycle." She expounds into a language Lancer speaks. "Oh I see now!"

Susie nods. "Yeah, there will be a time you can't depend on that anymore so uhh, try attacking me." Susie bends her knees and motions her hands to him while her fingers move inward her palms.

Lancer hesitates to take action. "B-But you're in my team, I can't hurt you! That would not make sense at all." He intertwines his fingers like a child. "It's for a good cause, Lancer so don't worry 'bout me. I'm a tough shell. Try it on me!"

"Errrmm, how?"

Susie stops to ponder. "I don't know man, just.. try pouncing on me." She shifts back into her recent position.

Lancer pushes his lower body back in a slant, exerting force on a foot while aiming his direction of leap. He sinks his head back, in preparation of launching his entire entity to the menace. Lancer slowly waits for the perfect timing and then..

Susie effortlessly walks to the other way, leaving the royal's child in complete devastation.

And on the ground too.

"Oof! Hey no fair! You moved out of the way!" Lancer whines, frowning. Susie chuckles and hunches once more. "Try again then."

Lancer did the exact same thing and endeavors to capture her this time. But alas, failure was added once more into his attempt list.

"Argh! That was a close one. Again!"

Lancer does so in repetition.

"Grrrr!" Missed.

Susie snickers in amusement. There was no way he was going to bring down a colossal down with his little figure. Due to this philosophy Susie had in mind, she puts her guard down for the meantime. Her back facing against him, losing the main thought.

"Awe kid, ya can try a lil bit better than th-" And because of this arrogance, Susie was brought down.

Lancer was on top of Susie. The inches between their faces decreases by every breath they took. The crispy feeling of the wind landing down on their leathery skin. It had Susie's face in a hue of red, bashful from the ideas running around her head. "E-Erm.." She was completely lost. The heat on her face rises as Lancer had an adorable look on his face. In that moment of time, the world became ever so incomprehensible.

"Sooo, did I getcha?!" The voice of Lancer snaps Susie back to the ticking reality.

Susie laughs in klutzness. "H-Haha! That was good Lancer. Well done, you caught me." Susie gently pushes him off and clears her throat. The shade tinted on her cheeks were still evident.

Lancer happily gets off her. "Whew, that was a great practice for you." Susie contently says.

"That's only because you're a great friend!"

Friend.

After all Susie's not-so-friendly neighborhood nature, she was considered a friend by someone. It was.. refreshing to hear the word. A burning yet satisfying sensation arose in her chest.

"Now we can continue with our evil plan! What'cha think, Susie?" Lancer, with his little tongue out, blithely announces in excitement.

Susie sways her head to him.

"Yeah! Let's go, kiddo." Susie curves her lips into a pleased smile, looking at her dearly precious friend with an innocent smile on his face. Lancer perceives this and plasters a gentle smile on his face.

She feels motivated.

'He's ridiculously in a different level kind of evil but no matter what,

I swear to protect this crackhead.'
