Vampire's Kiss

Chapter Two

(Dipper)

I wake up on my soft bed.

"Did the... thing  bite you?" Ford's voice asks.

I put my hand on my neck, but don't feel a bite mark.

All I feel is saliva.

"No... I think he just licked my neck," I say.

"Go and take a bath then. Those things mark their territory by licking their victims," he says, shooing me away.

I nod and head to the bathroom.

But I'm not his victim.

And he's a living person.

Well... vampire.

I am careful NOT to scrub off Bill's saliva.

I let it soak into my skin, and then wipe it off.

I'm not a monster.

I don't let unsanitary things stay on my body for long.

I head to the fridge and grab an apple.

I smile at the red color and take a juicy bite.

Mabel taps my shoulder.

"What was being in a trance like?" She asks, sitting on the counter.

She swings her legs.

I freeze.

"Well... I felt like I need to please him, to do whatever he wanted me to."

"Like a slave?"

"Kinda..."

"Oh."

She stares at my neck.

"Lucky it didn't bite you."

"Yeah..."

"If it turned you, then we'd have to kill you!" Mabel laughs.

"Ha ha..." I say nervously.

"See you later, you mistake!" She says, gleefully.

I run to my room so I can have some peace.

I can't wait to see Bill tonight.

If he comes...

I hope he comes.

I hope he's ok!

I feel my heart sink.

What if he's not ok?

Oh God. Oh God. Oh God.

(Bill)

I look outside my window as I eat the red of an apple.

"What's wrong?" My brother, Will, asks as he enters my room.

"You're supposed to knock first," I say.

"I could've been naked for all you know," I add.

Will rolls his blue eyes.

"First off, it's like, 6 P.M. so you'd be dressed by now, and secondly... Wah. You normally use magic to change clothes."

"Still, I don't burst into your room."

"Stop avoiding my question," he says, sitting next to me.

"What's wrong Bill?" He asks.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Does it have something to do with where you sneak off to every night?"
