Jungkook took me to a cafe after school. "Remember how we would always walk here when we got bored at your house and Gyuri would always give us a free croissant." I smiled at him while taking a sip of my coffee. "Yeah and we used to call her grandma." We both faintly laughed.
We carried on our conversation, mainly about our past and how stupid we were. But then, of course, Jungkook brought up the person I least wanted to talk about. Mainly for my own sanity because only hearing his name I feel a butterfly flap its wings in my stomach. "So, Namjoon." I playfully roll my eyes at him with a half smile on my face. "What about him?" Jungkook smirks at me before scooching his chair closer. "He's never had a girlfriend, he's very awkward, and he is very, very smart but....not when it comes to girls." I half laughed at the last part. "Well, I mean, that doesn't really matter. It means I get to be his first." If only he likes me back...

Today is finally the day. Our second date. I am nowhere near being ready. I don't know what to wear, were we are going, how long I have to get ready. Ugh, im clueless. I grab my phone and text Jungkook to come to my room because I'm too lazy to walk to his.
"What's up?" Jungkook enters my room and sits on my bed. "I don't know what to wear." He grabbed out his phone and typed something. I watch him in confusion and then I hear a ding from his phone. He smiles and looks back up at me. "I got this." He gets up and walks over to my closet. He pulls out light colored ripped jeans and throws them at me along with on of my favorite long sleeves. "What if this is too casual?" I hold out the clothes in front of me. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing"
I put on a maroon colored pair of converse while I wait for Namjoon to pick me up. It's still light out but in about an hour or two it will get darker. "Are you ready?" I look back and Jungkook and nod my head. "Yeah but, what if something happens?" He looks at me confused. "Like what if he tries to 'make a move' or something?" Jungkook chuckles at my question. "Well, go for it. What do you have to lose?"
I hear a knock on my door as I rush down the stairs to meet the handsome man behind the door. Jungkook follows right behind me. I open the door and see a huge smile along with my new addiction...his dimples. "Are you ready to go?" He steps to the side to allow room for me to exit my house. Before leaving, I give Jungkook a hug and he ruffles my hair. "Have fun, but not too much fun!"
"Where are we going?" I look over at him. His jawline I swear it could slice a diamond. He honestly looks really hot when he's driving. "You will have to wait and see." He looked over at me smiling while making sure to make eye contact with me.
Namjoon is driving with one hand so he has his other hand resting on the center council. I look down at his hand, tempted to interlock my fingers with his. But then again a part of me is telling me not to because then it will be awkward.
We pull into a large field with cars parked everywhere. I look around and see huge medal structures cutting into the sky. "Do you know where we are now?" I look over at him with a huge smile on my face. "Are we at an amusement park?" He smiled as big as me before getting out of the car. After I closed my door I rushed over to him barely able to contain my excitement. "Aish, you child." He looks down at me while smiling.
"Two wristbands please." I could barely stand still. I love amusement parks. "Awe, it looks like your girlfriend is really excited." I looked over at Namjoon with a shocked look and he smiled at me. "She sure is." After I got my wristband he grabbed my hand and we walked side by side while searching for a ride to go on. My face is so red, I can feel it. "What do you want to ride first?" I looked around and pointed to a ride that looked like a giant swing but spun in circles while swinging really high. "What about that?" He looked at it and then looked back at me.
After waiting in line what felt like forever, we were finally getting on the ride. We sat next to each other and pulled down the medal bars that where keeping us from falling out. "Are you ready?" I looked over at Namjoon and nodded my head in response. As the ride started moving I held on tight and braced for the whatever this ride had in store for me.
It was getting dark as we were walking around eating ice cream, hand in hand. "Namjoon?" He looked at me and hummed in response. "Do you like me?" He smiled, exposing his dimples. "I don't want to make this weird but, yeah I do like you. Ever since we started talking on the plane, I felt that there was a spark. I mean I don't know if you felt that to but...yeah." I looked up at him, looking at his flushed cheeks and then up to his eyes. "I like you too."
As the night was coming to an end, we rode the ferris wheel before we had to leave. We had casual conversation while sitting in a very close proximity in the ferris wheel cart. Once we got closer to the top I held on to the medal bar in front of me. I've always been a little iffy when it came to heights but, I didn't want to tell Namjoon. He carefully placed his arm on the back of the cart behind where I was sitting. He dropped his hand down to wrap it around the side of my waist. I scooted closer to him so that our thighs where touching. He rested his hand on the outside of my thigh. By now, we are both comfortable with each other so that we can act like an actual couple. "Jaerin-ah?" I looked up at him and our eyes met. I could see the reflection of the lights from the other rides in his eyes. "Yes?" He looked a little nervous, but at the same time, confident. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
