Today is our last day of school ever. It's kinda sad but I can't wait. Namjoon texted me, telling me that he is at my house to pick me up. He has been driving me to and from school for the past few weeks. I think it's sweet.
This day has been going by pretty fast. We've done about nothing in all of our classes and so I hung out with Namjoon and the rest of the guys. Jungkook wasn't home this morning and so I thought he left early but he isn't at school either. "Have you guys heard from Jungkook at all?" They all look at one another while shaking theirs heads. "I'll text him." I pull out my phone and ask him where he is at.
The day is almost over and we still haven't heard from Jungkook. We are all in the main gym getting out gowns and caps. I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see who it is. When I see his face, I quickly wrap my arms around him. "Why were you gone? Where were you?" He slowly wraps his arms around me, almost painfully. "I went to go see my parents." I pull back a little bit and look him in the eyes. "Jungkook..."
After we get everything we need for graduation, I pull Jungkook to somewhere private. "Why did you go see your parents?" He looked at me with pity in his eyes. "I was hoping they changed, and I just wanted to see them." I examined his body, looking for any signs of physical contact. He notices. He turns to the side and lifts up his shirt a little bit. There is a huge bruise already forming on the side of his stomach. "Oh Jungkook...what happened?" He pulled his shirt back down and looked me in the eyes. "Can I tell you at home?" I nodded my head and we walked back to the rest of the guys.
We were all walking together to our cars. Most of the boys carpool with one another but luckily it's only me and Namjoon in his car. I admire his side profile, yet again, as we drive off. His hair is sticking up somewhat, and off to the side. His full lips are slightly parted. His eyes are the tiniest bit squinted. He's always so concentrated when he drives.
I look down at his resting hand. I slowly place my much smaller hand in his and intertwine our fingers. He looks over and smiles softly. His eyes sparkle, almost as bright as the sun. His eyes are hard to look away from, and not hard to look at.
"Was everything okay with Jungkook?" I remain studding his side profile. I nod and hum in response, not removing my eyes from him. "Why was he late to school?" He looked over at me after asking his question. "He had some family issues he needed to fix." Namjoon nodded and turned back to the road. I finally look over at my window and watch the scenery fly past me.
"You know, if you are ever going through a hard time, I will be going through it with you." I look back over at him from the sudden confession. "No matter what, we are going through the ups and downs of life together. No matter how hard you try to get rid of me, I will never leave." He squeezes my hand and we lock eyes. "I love you Hwang Jaerin and I will never stop loving you." I feel my eyes start to well up from happiness. "I love you too Kim Namjoon."

It's pretty late and I'm pretty sure my parents are asleep by now. I walk over to Jungkook's room and walk in. He was laying in his bed, under the covers, only exposing his bare chest and up.
I sit on the edge of his bed and he scooches over to make room for me to lay next to him. I lay down and rest my head on his shoulder. "So are you going to tell me what happened?" He exhales deeply and starts.
"I walked in and saw that the house was a mess which doesn't surprise me. I called out for them but got no response. Next thing I know, there is a beer bottle being thrown at my head. Luckily I moved in time so it shattered on the wall next to me. My dad comes rushing towards me and yells at me about being in their house. I tried telling him that I just wanted to see them but he didn't care." Jungkook gulped before continuing.
I grabbed his hand and rubbed it softly for comfort. "Then he grabbed my collar and threw me to the ground and started kicking me until I was spitting out blood. I tried to get up but he stepped on my hand hard causing me to fall back onto the ground." He raised his free showing me how raw and bruised it was. A tear slipped out of my eye as he finished. "I kicked his area and he crouched in pain and so I took that chance to sprint out of the house. The I drove back to the school."
He looked down at me and saw a few tears on my cheek and wiped them away. I looked into his glossy eyes and sighed. "Can I sleep in here tonight? I don't want to leave you." He nodded and covered us with the covers.

Today is finally graduation and boy I can't wait to be done with school. I have plenty of time until the ceremony so I'm going job searching. I want to be able to move out soon and maybe, possibly with Namjoon. I'm hoping to become a nurse soon so I will probably start with searching for jobs in a medical office.
I make my first stop at a hospital that is not too far away from home. I would need to take the bus or have Jungkook take me but it's fairly close.
I walk up to the lady at the counter. She looks young but still older than me. "Hello, I was wondering if you guys were offering any jobs at the moment?" She looked at me and then back at her computer while typing something. "We have a job opening for receptionist. Would you like me to set up an interview for you?" She looked back up at me, waiting for an answer. "Yes please."
I sat in the waiting room for a while waiting for that lady to come back. I was lightly tapping my fingers from nerves. Once I saw the lady come back, I stood up and she had me follow her.
