You stayed with Sam while Dean was asking some people about the mysterious disappearings. As Sam hadn't been sleeping in a while, the last thing you wanted was him falling asleep in a library or anywhere, that wasn't a motel room. Plus, he said, he always saw Lucifer. Still.
While you two were deepening into the books, you felt his arm touch yours. You broke reading.
"It's okay, Sam, I'm here. Nothing bad's gonna happen to you." you looked around. "Where can you see him?" you whispered.
"Here."
Suddenly he made himself visible for you, too. You gasped and the breath stuck in your throat. His eyes wandered all over your upper body, then stopped at your ones.
