"To get Cas," Dean explained taking a turn and pulling in front of the Raven haired man's house.

Castiel heard the roar of an engine as he looked down at his crappy pone seeing a text from Dean... Castiel was excited as he knew what was going to happen. He was going to get away from his horrible family... with Dean.

"Dean, what changed your mind?" He asked with a finally happy face.

"He hit Sammy," Dean whispered to the raven-haired man as he glanced back to Sam sleeping in the back seat.

"That's horrible," He whispered playing with his fingers.

"Cas what made you want to come with?" Dean asked with a sigh.

"My parents... They're horrible," He whispered looking out the window, trying to help his tears that just wouldn't stop forming.

"Cas," Dean murmured placing a hand on his leg. "they can't hurt you now,"

"They weren't always this way... It started around a year ago when I told them-" He trailed off at the end not wanting to continue.

"What?" Dean asked taking his eyes off the road for just a second.

"Me being gay," He explained clearing his throat... It was silence for a while until Sammy broke the eerieness the car had held.

"Bean where are we going?" He asked confused.

He rubbed his sleepy eyes laying his head on his brother's shoulder.

"I don't know," The blonde man explained. "Cas where would you like to live?"

The raven-haired man turned his way in disbelief. "Live?" He asked in disbelief. "With you?"

The hunter nodded his head, glancing his way. "I mean if you want,"

The raven-haired man never had to reply though as Sam began to cheer. "Cassy pweeeeseeee!" He exclaimed tugging on Castiel's shoulders.

"Ok... Yeah sure- It's not like I have anywhere else to go," He mumbled with a smile.

"So where should we start?" The leather jacket bearing man questioned.

"Somewhere far away," He explained as Sammy began to wiggle in his seat and unbuckled he seat belt because yes he knew how to do that now, as the young moose made way in between the seats on top of Cas.

"Sammy, what are you doing?" Dean exclaimed trying to stay focused on the road. "That's not safe!"

"I'm sowry," He murmured with a cry from all the yelling. "I just wanted to sit by Cassy!" Looking up at the trench-coated man.

"It's ok Sam," Castiel mumbled with a smile.

The younger Winchester smiled looking down and playing with Castiel's fingers. "I want life in Hawaii!" He exclaimed with a smile.

"Well, Sammy... We don't really have the money for that," Dean explained with a sigh taking a left turn.

The last thing he wanted to do was crush Sammy's dreams, but that was a dream that he couldn't grant no matter how much he tried.

"Dean?" The blued eyed many suddenly asked.

"Yeah Cas?" He questioned.

"W-What if we lived in Kansas?" He asked as Dean lit up at the idea but then looked as though he might cry.

"T-That's where my mom died," He explains pulling into a parking lot to a diner.

"Dean it's really late... Sam should get sleep-"

"Food!" Sam cheered cutting the raven-haired man off, Dean just smirked.

"See," they all made way in together Sammy in front of both men as well... they looked like a family. A happy one.

"Bean?" Sammy asked suddenly after they sat down.

"Yeah, Sammy?" His brother asked.

"Arwe wee pour?" He asked with a pout.

"No... What makes you think that?" Dean asked with a sigh.

"Because I heard youw talkin," He cried. "I don't waunt too bwe homeless!"

"No... No, it's ok Sam," Cas reassured speaking up for Dean. "Your brother and I will make sure you have everything that you need,"

"Are youw liwke muy dawd now?" He asked with a smile.

This put a blush to Castiel face as Dean smirked.

"Well Uh no Sammy Castiel he's our friend that will live with us," The older Winchester explains.

"But yow guwys liwk-"

"Hello I'm Sally what can I get you?" The young moose was cut off by the waitress and as usual like the first time Dean orders for both Castiel and Sammy.

"But Beannnnn," Sam whined. "I want Cassy too bwe muy new dawd," Sam explained as if it were that easy.

"Well-"

"Well Sam I can't ever be your real father but I can be a father figure in your life," Castiel explained with a smile.

"Yey!" Sam cheered. "Cassy is de best!" Catching others attention, but it was so late there was really no one in the diner.

"Agreed," Dean smiled chucking the straw wrapper at Sams' face.

"Cassy," He cried. "Save me," Sam cried his arms flailing them crazily.

Castiel grabbed him and put him next to him across from Dean. "Oh come on!" the blonde man exclaimed. "I'm the best your missing out!" They all laughed as the young Sammy laid down in the booth his head resting on Castiel lap.

"Mwe tired," He mumbled rubbing his sleepy eyes.

Castiel brushed Sams long locked of hair out of his face, that he wouldn't cut.

"Go to sleep buddy we can get your food to go," Dean reassured with a smile.

And that was how Dean and Castiel became even closer.

That was one of the leading ways that Dean was able to realize that he was indeed gay.
