The raven-haired man bolted upright in bed, gazing around and taking in his surroundings.

That's how he ended up wanting to cry as his blood pressure increased. His heart wanted to explode as his mind traveled elsewhere.

"Dean..." He whispered feeling the bed beside him but all his hand came in contact with was bed sheets.

His head snapped in that direction, taking in the sight of his own bed sheets... He was in his parent's house. They had never run away- God how could they. Castiel's parents would never stop until they tracked him down.

The blue-eyed man should have known that, should have known it was too good to be true... Should have known that it was all just a dream.

He and the green-eyed man were still friends... Friends that didn't live with each other. Both friends with abusive parents- Parents that would end up killing them if they didn't get out of there.

"You want to do what?" Dean asked in disbelief looking to his friend like he was crazy. "Cas we've known each other a month,"

"I know but-"

"After we graduate maybe... But I can't pull Sammy from school in the middle of the year," He whispered looking away.

"Ok..." The trench-coated man whispered looking down. "I'm sorry for even mentioning it," At least Dean was ok. He kept saying over and over in his thoughts. At least that dream wasn't true.

If only Castiel knew that maybe... Just maybe he wanted that dream to be true.

"Cassy!" Sam cheered later that Sunday morning as the blue-eyed man lifted him up into his arms.

They all sat on the couch after that, watching some dumb movie. The friends sitting very close, the moose wiggling in the raven-haired man's arms. "I'm bored," The little boy complained hanging upside down.

"Well, what do you want to do-"

"SWIM!" He exclaimed causing his brother to jump. "Awt the place BEAN!"

"What place?" The friend asked with his head tilted to the side.

"Thwe Lake!" Sam yelled slurring his words.

"I took him to this lake one day and we swam all day," Dean smiled at the memory.

"I want to go," The blue-eyed man smiled at the moose. "But it's up to your brother."

"Uh Dean," Castiel whispered looking at the water in terror.

This was a bad idea, he thought I should have told them sooner.

The green-eyed man turned around now only in his underwear causing a pink tint to find way to his cheeks.

"Cas?" He questioned coming in closer to him. "The water is fine," A smile made way across his lips causing one to make way on everyone's.

But then a frown came upon the raven-haired man. "I don't know how to swim," He murmured looking away with a sigh.

"Oh," is all his friend got out. "Don't worry Sammy and I can teach you," They were in the middle of no where and Castiel was glad because he didn't want anyone else to see him fail.

Dean took his friends hands in his, quickly letting Castiel steal his warmth as slowly he went backward into the water never breaking eye contact with the blue eyes that seemed able to take all of his pain away.

Then before the now non-trenchcoated man knew it he was waist deep in the water, the moose jumping in beside them with a big splash getting them soaked head to toe. The young boy was laughing his guts out swimming all around.
