You met her on your eighteenth birthday.

An utter accident but now you loved it.

She was your reason for so many things.

Some times it felt like she was the reason your heart beat.

Other times you lost your sleep over her, scared for what she was enduring by being at her own place. Or working late. You lost sleep alright.

Your mind would race sometimes when you thought about her. Sometimes just the mention of her name made you go crazy.

You knew in your heart you'd do anything for her. If you had to climb a mountain you would, swim across the ocean you'd do it in a heart beat.

When she'd leave you'd shake, your hands a mess when you worried.

When you'd fight she was the reason you felt like your heart was bleeding.

You'd go back in time if you could, turn back the clocks. You'd do anything to help her be strong, to defend her. You'd keep her close and safe.

You loved her, she was your reason for so many things.

She still is.

You'd do anything to this day to hep her, keep her close, to love her, cherish her.

The few times you'd given up but got right back up she'd ask how.

You'd always respond with the same thing, it was true.

"How are you able to just get back in life? I don't understand" an awkward laugh escaping her lips. Moving closer you held her face in your hands.
