Your POV

We eventually went back to have a small chat with both deviants and why they were after bio-compments and packs of Thirium.

"We needed both for our children. We have children. Please, we don't want to die..." The female deviant begs.

"Child deviants? How many?"

"T-Two, we have two..."

"What happened to them?"

"O-One of them got hit by a bus and the other was attacked by a bear, w-w-w-we were running away from our owner, trying to use us for their amusement...Zlatko. One o-of the mo-monstrous, destroyed a-androids led the rest and killed him..." The male deviant explains.

"Why did you kill the guards?"

"They were merciless to our children. They're too young to die."

'Obviously.' I think.

"We'll let you go to take care of your children...run along, they're outside waiting for you." Hank excuses the deviants, which I smiled at Hank about.

We watched them as they exited to find their children and saw them free run away from the police department.

"I know what you did was gonna get the Boss pissed off, but I think you did the right thing." I smile a bit.

"That's the first time I've ever seen you smile. You look prettier when you smile needless to say." Hank turns to me.

"Fuck off Anderson, it's not a big deal." I blush at the sudden compliment.

"I'm just being honest."

Time Skip...

We went to the bar to celebrate and the two lovebird androids decided to join us only to make new friends with other people, even when it said that androids weren't allowed inside. The bartender didn't give a damn, so he took down the sign.

"So then he ended up shitting his pants only because saw his own android staring at him while he slept." Hank laughs.

"I can't believe that puny little turd, he deserved it for pushing you around." I chuckle while shaking my head disappointed and drinking my whiskey.

"Yeah. Hey I appreciate you deciding to join us for a drink. You need to get out more y'know." Hank smiles at me.

"Kinda, I don't really get out, unless it's with friends." I smile back. I check my phone at see it was already 11:32 PM.

"Gotta get home?" Hank looks at me sadly.

"Yeah, You know we gotta wake up early tomorrow."

Hank's POV

Kid's got a point, we wake up at 5AM tomorrow.

"Bye guys." She says while paying the bartender.

"Bye Y/n." Connor waves sadly.

"I'll see you tomorrow Connor." Lark kisses his cheek, causing a bright blue tint on the both of their faces.

"Hey Hank." Y/n taps my shoulder.

"Yeah?" I turn to her. I then feel her softly kiss me on the mouth, making my face feel so warm and red. I was only able to kiss back for 4 seconds before pulling away.

"Goodnight." She leaves with Lark.

"That was something wasn't it lieutenant?" Connor walks up to me while resting his arm on my shoulder.

"I guess so." I touch my lips thinking about what just happened.
