Chapter Three

Pete POV
I woke up that day made breakfast for us smiling as I saw my husband trying to wear a tie.

Ae looked annoyed with the tie. He look at me and I smiled after as I stopped cutting the vegetables and went over to Ae and adjust his tie.

"Ae don't worry na. I know you will do great" I said smiling "there, my husband so handsome"

Ae smiled and said "thank you Pete. Stop making that cute face or else I can't stop myself"

I couldn't help but felt shy even if it's been years he still can easily make me blush.

"Ae stop teasing me" I said as I went back to the kitchen and wash my hands again to continue cooking our breakfast.

As I was cooking I didn't see Ae came in as he suddenly wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Pete you smell so good" he said smelling me. I couldn't help but blush as I hit his chest

"Stop teasing me Ae and get the table set up. The food is almost ready" I told him and he smiled as he left the kitchen to set the table.

As we sat down and ate we look at each other smiling. Our happiness is right now. I remembered the body that was brought in by the ambulance as soon as I arrived at the hospital made me cry but I held it in.

"Ah Pete" he broke my thoughts and I look up at him and he looked at me with confusion

"this morning when you woke up you said by a nightmare. Can I ask is it because of an accident? Who had an accident?" Ae ask me.

I was tongue tied. Unsure on how to explain to him.

"Ah nothing Ae. The accident because of someone at my workplace. They had an accident. But they are alright now". I said lying. I mentally hit myself for lying to Ae.

"Oh okay" Ae said but his mind still thinking. I could tell. I got up and excused myself to the bathroom.

When I was looking at myself in the mirror I started to cry. After awhile I wash my face and got out.

I saw the table was cleared and Ae was washing the plates. He saw me and came towards me hugging me tight.

I smell his cologne and felt the tears coming down again

"Hey are you okay? What's wrong?" Ae ask rubbing my back. I couldn't stop sobbing.

"I'm sorry I really care for my friend. They were really there when I just started working. Sorry Ae" I said as I wiped my tears and look at him smiling slightly.

"It's alright Pete. Everything will be alright" he said rubbing my back gently.

Soon we parted to go to work. Before going to our separate cars I told him "Ae be careful when driving okay. I love you Ae"

"I will. Love you too Pete. Have a good day" he said as he start the car and drive to work.

I sighed as I watch him leave our garage and pray the one I love will be safe.
