Ae POV Pete was being quite clingy this morning. It was odd. Was it because of the friend he mentioned. I couldn't stop thinking of what he said this morning.
"Ae! Oi Ae!" Someone yelled my name and it broke my screen of thoughts.
"Huh what?" I look at Pond and saw him. "Why?"
"What is up with you? Are you having a fight with Pete?" Pond ask.
"I don't know. He was acting odd this morning. He said something about accident and he cried this morning. It was odd. He was really clingy" I said
"Think something is wrong. What about you go and spend more time with Pete. I know ChaAim does that too" Pond said
I thought for awhile and said "maybe. I need to tell Mr Songkran about taking a leave. Wait"he took off his helmet and went to the manager's office.
After a brief chat with Mr Songkran I got out of the room smiling. Pond teased me
"So? Did that old man give you the leave?" Pond ask
I nodded "yeah but just for three days. Thanks for the suggestion Pond. Now, let's go" I put on the helmet and continue working.
Soon after work, I drive happily home and when I reached home I saw Pete lying on the couch facing up at the ceiling.
"Pete, I'm home" I said and he instantly got up and hugged me.
"Ae"he hugged me again now.more tightly and heard him mumble "I'm glad you're back. Safe. Are you hungry?"
I shake my head"let's eat out na. I got good news" I told him and he smiled
"Where are we going Ae?" I smiled at his question and brought him to the bedroom
"Let's get changed and go out" I told him and soon both of us changed and got in my car and went to our old university where we went to the restaurant nearby my faculty.
"Ae why are we at our old university?" He ask me confused
I smiled and caressing his cheeks "No reasons but just want to spend time with you here at our familiar place" I told him.
We ate and I couldn't stop looking at him. My beautiful husband, Pete.
After dinner we went to the field and sat on the grass just like the first time he confessed to me.

He placed his head on my shoulder and I linked our fingers together. It became a habit we do this. Even if it's been years it's like we are in our university days.
I can't stop thinking of what we had to go through.
What Pete had to go through with Trump bothering him and after we graduated Nong Chompoo came to my house and gold my family I made her pregnant.
What was even sadder was that Pete left the country. He left me. For three years we didn't come in contact at all.
But after all that I look back we gone through a lot together. I'm glad we are together now happily married.
"Ae what are you thinking?" Pete ask as he look at me slightly confused
I smiled and hugged him "just thinking of what both of us had to go through." I told him.
He smiled sadly at me that it made me more confused
"what's with that expression? Don't worry I promised you I will protect" I said caressing is back then at that moment I kissed him.
"I love you Pete. Always" I told him and he smiled
"And I love you too Ae" Pete answers back to me.
We spent time in the middle of the field and soon I had to carry Pete back to the car and drive home.
As we drove home I realized that it was quiet and realized Pete fell asleep. I drove swiftly and safely and soon got him to bed changed him kisses him and laid in bed next to him hugging him tight. I soon fell asleep next to him.
