"Alright students, you are under my turf for the time we take test today. No cheating or helping any one else. My eyes have you." Miss Shakira spoke aloud.

Leaned forward in my seat I peered over at none of than Andrew Clark the love of my life and biggest bad boy at East High.

He had so much change in the years I did not see him.

The most large change was his appearance.

I know deep inside that he is the same buckteethed kid I knew in kindergarden.

I just had to get him to open him up to me and then I could show him who the real Andrew Clark is.

This test was the biggest most hardest Spanish test in the whole of highschool.

Everyone dreaded this day when we all know our time is here.

Either pass and have all the requires for college or fail and get stuck in remedial Spanish until we escape.

"Mrs. Shakira," I say with hand raised.

"What Amelia Jane?" I have never been a bad kid before so she has no reason to aspect anything is going to be done by me.

"I think there is something I hear by the air conditionar." I smile like a angle. She will never suspect me of doing mean.

But what she doesn't know is that my phone is situatied between air vents with a low volume recording of a mouse squeaks.

Confused, Miss Shakira walks around the room to my desk sitting next to the air conditionar. Some of the classmates are looking my way but the big nerdy kids are working on their test.

I smile mischief and look over at Andrew.

His pencil is in one hand and paper in the other while he stares at me.

I watch his thumb gently rub up and down his pencil.

When I look at his eyes I see he is still watching me and Miss Shakira.

With a very impactful screech Miss Shakira runs from the air vent.

I look at Andrew and wink.

He raises his eyebrows and then looks at Miss Shakira.

She is standing on her desk still screaming because she believes there are mice in the air vent.

"Get away from there Amelia Jane!" She cackles.

Some of the classroom giggles but others are confusion.

But now, everyone is look at me and Mrs. Shakira.

"It's okay Mrs." I say with a reassured smile. "The janitor room is down the hall, I can watch everybody til he gets here."

"Oh Amelia Jane! Thank you!" With careful, Miss Shakira slowly climbs down from the desk onto her chair and onto the floor.

I smile again and nod with a reassured as she walks out the door.

Once the door close, I turn to the class.
"If anyone tells Miss Shakira we cheat then you have something coming for you and you better believe it!" I shout.

With quick feet I run to the air vent and pull out my cell phone then run back to her desk.

I go too work with quick fingers as I shuffle through the pages on her desk.

One of them has to be the answer guide and I know it!

Sudden, I feel a big strong hand on my shoulder.

For one moment I believe Mrs. Shakira has found me.

But certain she would not have hands like that!

"She keeps her answer sheet in here," Andrew is standing next to me with one hand on my shoulder.

With his other he opens a drawer and pulls out the answer sheet, with a wink at me.

I almost swoon right on the spot.

But I know we don't have much time.

I pull out my phone to take picture for the rest of class but Andrew grabs my hand.

"Let me, it is better that you do not get caught. Or else you will lose your trust with the staff at this school and will not be able to be sneaky again."

Andrew smiles gentle at me and I can feel how real he is.

I nod at him and he take picture and he hurries back to his desk.

I feel my phone vibrate in the back pocket of my tight black jeans.

I reach back and pull it out and look down, just as I had planned!

Andrew had text answers to everyone in class.

Some of the kids cheer and whoop and others go straight to filling in answers.

But everyone is grateful for Andrew and me.

We did a great thing.
