I saw y/n transform into some giant beast and fight what he calls a manticore. But the manticore was huge! And when it flew off y/n just walked back into the school like it never happened.
He went straight to the dorm and I followed. He walked in an I entered to.
Ruby: y/n?
He turned around to look at me. But the thing that was different about him was that even though he was usually tough, I could see fear in his eyes.
Y/n: yes?
Ruby: what was that thing?
Then he wouldn't answer. He just stopped talking for the day.
The next day Weiss came up to me.
Weiss: do you know why y/n wasn't talking yesterday?
Ruby: I asked him what that thing was and he just stopped talking.
Weiss: and do you know why?
Ruby: my only thought is that he is hiding something.
Weiss: then let's find out what he's hiding.
We went down to own dorm to find y/n not there. Good we have the chance to look through his stuff.
When we entered we went straight to work looking through his things. And to be honest he has a lot of cool thing.
But what was most interesting was these notes he had. I found them in a box called 'explorer notes'. They were by different people. 2 of these people were named Helena and Rockwell. As Weiss looked through those I continued looking and found 2 necklaces.

Y/n: what are you doing?
I looked at the door to see y/n with Joey
Ruby: ummm....... hi
He looked at Weiss still going through the notes. Then he looked at me and saw the necklaces
Y/n: hey don't go through my stuff!
He walked over to Weiss and took the notes then over to me and took the necklaces.
Ruby: what are you hiding?
Y/n: don't touch my thing.
Ruby: don't avoid the question
Y/n: I can do what I want you were going through my things.
As he said that he put the necklaces on.
Weiss: what are those for?
Y/n: a gift. Nothing more nothing less. No let's talk. Stop going through my stuff without permission or I'LL RIP YOUR SPINE OUT YOUR ASS!
We nodded. That scared us a lot. I never knew he could be so violent.
Y/n: good.
He looked at the notes.
Y/n: if you wanted to look through my things you could have just asked. I would have let you.
Ruby: yea right.
Y/n: I mean it. Do you want to look through these notes?
I can't believe he was asking. But I would play his game.
Ruby: yess actually
Y/n: ok come here. I'll lay them out in order of how you should read them.
He meant it? After he said that he took out some of the notes and started laying them out. When he was done we looked at them and noticed the numbers of the notes.
Weiss: who wrote these?
Y/n: I believe the original survivors that were on scorched earth. My friends let me take them here.
He then walked to the door and left the dorm.
Ruby: why did he even enter if he was leaving right after?
Weiss: I don't know
Y/n POV
After I left the dorm I walked down to an area where I knew I could think.
I went out the building, found my wall, took out my climbing picks, and started climbing. When I got to the flat area I had the peace I needed to think things through.
Y/n: what am I going to do about Ruby and Yang? And what about the manticore?
Joey just shook his head.
Y/n: heh. That's right you can't talk. If would be cool if you could though.
Y/n: sandstorm? I though that would be only in scorched earth. Well then lets go in.
I climbed down and saw the window that lead into the dorm. I climbed over, opened the window, and climbed in closing it.
When I turned around I saw the others looking at me.
Blake: so you do these type of strange things all the time?
Y/n: maybe
Yang: why did you even come in through the window?
Y/n: cause I did
I looked out the window to see a sandstorm happening.
Weiss: is that why you came through the window?
Y/n: yes, yes it is
Ruby: y/n?
Y/n: yes?
Ruby: what are those 2 necklaces for?
Y/n: what did I tell you, a gift and nothing more
Ruby: yes but you put them on as soon at you got them. Why?
I thought for a moment. Then I sighed.
Y/n: when I came in here before I was looking for them.
Weiss: why? All those are is some metal on string.
Y/n: not quite. You see 1. It is not metal. It's element. A substance that does not classify as metal and it comes from the ark. And 2. They help me control my semblance.
That confused them.
Blake: how does it help control your semblance?
Y/n: you see without these on when I transform I will sometimes lose control over it and the animal side will come out. Or i will have the instincts of said animal. When I have them on I have full control over my transformations. The guys made it for me before I left the ark. Before we killed the manticore.
Yang: if you killed the manticore how is it on remnant?
Y/n: that's the thing. I have no idea. I was just as surprised about it as anyone else could have been. And I was worried. You may not have seen the full power of my manticore transformation but the full power of a wild one is deadly. We lost good dinosaurs fighting it.
Ruby: so what about this manticore. You don't have your friends from this ark. And you don't have these dinosaurs. So what are you going to do?
I thought for a moment. Then I sighed.
Y/n: I will have to fight it even if it kills me
Another one. Guys just to let you know I am more or less always working on these chapters unless I have school, sports Boy Scouts, or am doing something else to entertain myself. I hope you have a good morning, evening or afternoon
