She was loved and adored by her family. She not only was gracious and genuine, but was very beautiful as well. Many hommes had asked for her hand in marriage, but she always turn them down. She prayed to the one true God to bring that homme she desired.***One day Joel was riding to his brother's home in Judea when he saw Christine gathering water from a well. She became frightened and started to run. "HALT!" He shouted. She groveled to the ground and started to plea. "Have mercy on me good soldier. I was only gathering water from the well for I was thirsty-" He cut her off. "I am aware of that. I only was going to ask you why you were out here in the woods by yourself. It isn't very safe during the late afternoon going into evening." She looked at him than knelt her head back down. "My father couldn't come with me. Nor could my brother. They went to collect food from the market place." Joel climbed off his horse and went over to her. "You may rise, maiden." She rosed and made eye contact with him. Joel found her to be very beautiful while Christine found him to be very handsome. "Uh. Would you like for me to escort you back home?" "Oh. No. No thank you." Christine went back to the well to get her jug. "I insist. You need someone to guide you back home." "Very well than." Joel had her ride on his house as she directed him to where she lived. While they traveled, Joel was overcome with passion. A passion that they both shared and would bring the two different believers together, but wouldn't be approved for long by one of them.
