Part 4-Prison and War (Passion)

  Joel went to Christine's room the following morning, she was still fast asleep and in the dress she wore the night before. "You still are after her, I see." He turned around and saw Lilith. "What? Is my sister-in-law jealous?" He smirked. "How am I jealous of a peasant?" He became angered by her remark.. "DON'T call her that!" "Well, looks like the Christ worshiper is growing on you." He grabbed Lilith's arm and squeezed it very tightly. "It is none of your affairs." "I think it is." "It is not! Besides, why on the face of Judea do you still desire the brother of your husband? After he doesn't have interest in you, nor in ruining what he has with his brother?" Lilith grew mad at that point. " Maybe I should tell Paulous? He has the right to know, he'll believe me. Than you'll be stripped of what you have, namely my brother's palace-" "ENOUGH!" He saw the anger glow in her brown eyes. "If war is what you want? Than you shall have it." He scoffed and brushed her statement aside as she went from the room. Joel than turn his attention back to Christine, who slowly began to awaken. "Good morning, fair maiden." She gasped as she was met by his sight. "Uh, good-morning." He reached over and caressed her face. As before, the passion they felt when they first met had return. She tried, but wasn't able to control her hand from wanting to touch his face as well. He took her head and began to kiss it romantically. She moaned and wrapped her arms around him. Their lips met and they began to kiss feverly. "Oh, oh Christine,. I've wanted you from the moment I laid eyes on you." The only sound that responded to him was her moaning. He quickly removed her dress as she helped to remove his armor and toga. Their love making was passionate and fiery. All the while, was witnessed by Lilith who grew more angry by what she saw from the creek of the curtain. ***Aaron had been imprisoned for hours and was growing tired from lack of food. The Roman soldiers certainly had no care or pity for someone in his case. He prayed that the Lord would send help, no matter how long it took. He looked around the prison and saw that other prisoners seemed malnutrition for what seemed like an eternity. "Excuse me? But long long have you all been imprisoned for?" "Five years." Said one. "Nine years." Said the second. "Twelve years." Said the third. "Fifteen years." Said the fourth. "Why is it that you are so malnutrition?" "Paulous only allows for us to receive food only two days a week." Said the fourth prisoner. "He is a tyrant!" Cried Aaron. "Gentlemen, I can help you to escape." "It's impossible." Said the second prisoner. "Anyone who has ever tried is put to death!" "Not unless you believe in the Lord Jehovah God and his son Jesus and have faith." The four prisoners began to lean in much closer to their prison bars as Aaron spoke more about Jehovah and Jesus. "Jesus died for our sins, so that WE may live life eternally." He than took a stick and drew a fish on a old piece of cloth for them to see. "You see, the fish is a symbol of Jesus dying but resurrecting from the dead. It also is the symbol of him coming to the Earth to destroy Satan and his demons. Satan has for many, many, years tried to defeat God by making others be like he is. Or by simply creating false stories of people who became higher beings like Jehovah and that we should worship them. But no matter what happens, Satan will always be defeated. For the Lord above will see to it that we-his people continue to spread his message of love, peace, equality, freedom, and joy." "I NEED YOU, JESUS!" Shouted the third prisoner. " SAVE MY SOUL!" Shouted the first. " I NEED YOU!" Shouted the second and the fourth. ***When Joel and Christine had finish making love. Christine suddenly became frightened and ashamed. She had relations prior to marriage, she gave into the lust she tried to resist, she lied with the same homme who hit her father and imprisoned her brother. She immediately began to cry, which awoke Joel from his sleep. "What is the matter Christine?" She shifted away from him. "Leave me alone!2 "Please, tell me. I'm concerned." "Oh, how could you be? You aren't a child of Jehovah like myself! You insult his son and mock his people, namely my father. Not to mention imprisoned my brother. Although what my brother did wasn't wise, he still is a child of Jehovah!" Suddenly Joel started to took interest in what she was saying. "Christine, is the Lord Jehovah and his son, Jesus. They forgive?" "Yes! Jesus forgives those who sin, as long as they mean it and they really love him and his father." "Does Jehovah God listens to you? Does he know what you do? Does he help you? Is he like a ruler?" "Yes. He is.His son is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Through obeying his father, he became all of those things. He chose to die for our sins, so that Satan wouldn't have control over us anymore." The more Christine spoke about Jehovah and Jesus, the more Joel began to believe. ***"Lilith? Lilith?" Paulous went searching for Lilith throughout the castle "Lilith, where have you been?" "OH, BLAST YOU PAULOUS! I CANNOT STAND BEING HERE WITH YOU ANY LONGER!" She yelled as she orders her things to be packed from her quarters. "What is the meaning of this?" "I'M LEAVING YOU! I LOVE YOU NO LONGER! I LOVE YOUR BROTHER!" Paulous grabbed Lilith and throw her on thier bed. "Joelous? JOELOUS? "YES, HIM! I'VE ALWAYS LOVED YOUR BROTHER! I ONLY CHOSE TO BE WITH YOU JUST TO HAVE YOUR NAME IN MARRIAGE AND YOUR PALACE!" He grabbed her hair and pulled at it. "YOUR TRAITOR!" Lilith screamed and kicked Pualous over with a statue. She then started to push and charge at the servants and guards who came to see what had happen. She made her way to Christine's quarters and tried to attack her but Joel stopped her. "YOUR SNAKE!" He yelled. She screamed than kicked him in the knee and proceeded towards Christine. Christine pushed and ran from her. "CHRISTINE!" Joel ran towards her and gathered her in his arms. "Christine, Christine, did she hurt you?" "No, no I'm alright." Lilith then regained her consciousness and started to knock over the objects around Christine's quarters 'til she knocked over the candles that still were lith. "HURRY!" Joel shouted as he took Christine and the servants out of the palace with some of the guards. "OH NO, YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE YOU TRAITOR!" Shouted Paulos as he grabbed Lilith who tried to escape as the fire grew. "Joel, my brother!" Joel led Christine to where the prisoners were and let Aaron and the other prisoners out. As they ran into the forest far from the castle, Joel took Christine in his arms and kissed her passionately The palace was aflame, his brother probably dead along with his mad wife, but the passion that Joel and Christine had still grew a more bigger flame than the one they'd escape in. But that passion still made Christine feel ashamed and unworthy to serve God.
