Chapter 8 Christmas Eve One Year Later

It was Christmas Eve and Natasha held her annual Christmas Eve party. She really outdid herself this year with Christmas lights. The ghosts of Albus Dumbledore Tamera Sirius James Lily Remus Tonks Fred and Eileen all came around midnight welcoming Christmas Eve. It was an incredible year for Natasha and Draco. They've grown close this past year. They had some incredible dates Draco loved the murder mystery dates him and her went on. He enjoyed playing a detective and solving the mystery.

Natasha and Draco had an incredible year of dating. Severus has never seen his daughter so happy with her quarry. She really outdid herself with Christmas lights this year. She even got lights with the mouth and started a song she wanted to try one song before she tried more songs. Severus and everyone else was impressed with the new lights she put up this year. This Christmas was an even better Christmas Eve than last year cause this year Draco agreed to help out with the party. He even helped her put up the lights this year. He was okay with her not having a job cause he never wanted her to cancel on him cause of work he was fine with that.

Draco's been working hard on getting her a job at Malfoy Incorporated his wizarding job. He's making her his Personal Assistant. She gets to attend his meetings and take notes and meet up with other wizarding companies all over the world. He's been working on that. They've been on many wonderful dates this year. Natasha at the beginning of the Christmas season bought a new movie called The Polar Express. She and Draco have watched it together he actually like it very much and thought it was cute.

Natasha had made lots of Christmas cookies cupcakes brownies and all kinds of sweet treats for the party. Draco helped out too by buying a lot of food that she needed for baking and cooking the big dinner. Everyone was laughing and having a good time they were also in their Christmas pajamas Draco saw Severus drinking some eggnog and walked up to him and spoke to him.

"Severus can I have a word with you and Tamera for a moment please?" Draco asked him nervously Severus saw his puzzled face and spoke to him.

"Of course Tamera you and Draco come with me to my library." Severus said to them Tamera and Draco nodded and followed him to his library. While in the library Draco had his hands in his pockets he had a ring in one of his pockets. He was playing with it nervously by twirling the ring box around Draco sighed and Tamera spoke to him.

"Oh Draco you've made our little girl so very happy this year. I saw the happiness in her eyes as she told me everything that's happened with you two this year. I'm so proud of you Draco for listening to our advices." Tamera said to him Draco smiled and spoke to her.

"Well Tamera Severus I love Natasha so very much and I can't imagine my life without her. She makes me happy every time I'm with her I feel like I'm on cloud 9." Draco started to say Severus spoke to him.

"My daughter has that unique way about her and that's making people happy." Severus told him Draco nodded and spoke to him.

"I've noticed that throughout the year sir. I love her so much she's my darling princess. I enjoyed helping her put up her wonderful Christmas lights up on the house for her while the weather was still nice. It was hard work considering we couldn't use magic but I understood cause of the muggle neighbors that live so close to you and across the street and that's understandable. I know now why it took her days to put up Christmas lights. In our case it took two weeks after Halloween to make everything just perfect." Draco said to him Severus nodded and spoke to him.

"Of course it did. She works so hard putting up her decorations and lights every year but seeing the look and excitement on her guests faces makes it all worth it in the end. Seeing everyone love and talk about her lights and decorations make the hard work all worth it in the end." Severus said to him Tamera nodded and Draco as well and spoke to him.
