It's Christmas Eve again and Scorpius was a fine young man of 20 years old. The snow was falling gently Natasha was baking her annual holiday treats for the party tonight. She and Draco have been together 40 years now. She let out a tear cause the angel topper was missing and now the Christmas tree looked bare without it. Natasha bought every Christmas item for the party that included all types of new decorations. She was frosting cupcakes to keep herself busy and not to think about the angel topper. It was a present from Draco after Scorpius was born.
Scorpius saw his mum baking in the kitchen. He hated seeing her so sad over a missing tree topper but he understood the sentiment behind it as well as the story. He made his mother a new Christmas angel for the tree that looks just like her at least until she finds her other one. Scorpius came into the kitchen and spoke to her.
"Mum." He said to her Natasha smiled and spoke to him.
"You want to taste the goodies and treats don't you Scorpius?" Natasha asked him smiling Scorpius chuckled and spoke to her.
"Come on mum I'm too old for that. Besides I have something for you." Scorpius told her Natasha looked at him he was so much like Draco when Draco was 20 and spoke to him.
"Christmas isn't until tomorrow Scorpius." Natasha reminded him Scorpius nodded and spoke to her.
"I want to give you my present now. You're allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve." Scorpius told her Natasha laughed and spoke to him.
"Of course how could I forget." Natasha said to him Scorpius handed her a present it was wrapped in red wrapping paper and tied with a gold ribbon cause he knew his mother was a Gryffindor. Natasha took the present and untied the ribbon and undid the wrapping paper. She discovered a white box. She opened the lid and saw a Christmas angel. Natasha gasped and picked it up and was in awe Scorpius spoke to her.
"I felt bad cause you couldn't find the Christmas angel that dad got you so I made you one to look like you. Dad was right you are an angel." Scorpius told her Natasha gasped and spoke to him.
"Oh Scorpius I absolutely love this! Thank you for thinking of me." Natasha said to him getting all choked up Scorpius nodded and spoke to her.
"You're welcome mum. I knew how much the one dad got you meant to you. I felt bad you couldn't find it so I made an angel that looked just like you. Cause dad always said you were an angel at Christmas time and his shining star the rest of the year." Scorpius told her Natasha nodded and spoke to him.
"Oh my wonderful and handsome son. It's the nicest thing you have ever made for me. I want to put it on top of the
tree right now." Natasha said to him undoing her apron Scorpius laughed he was glad to see his mother happy. He remembered how much his mother had such a strong love for Christmas. They walked into the foyer where the tree was. The tree was 20 feet tall and had lots of ornaments on it some of them very ornate Natasha used the wingardum levisosa spell to get the angel to fly to the top of the tree. The angel made it to the top and was over the branch. Natasha loved it and spoke to Scorpius. "Oh Scorpius it looks wonderful! Thank you so much! I love it!" Natasha told him overwhelmed with his thoughtful gift Scorpius nodded and spoke to her."You're welcome mum. I wanted to put a smile on your face. I didn't like seeing you so sad." Scorpius told her Natasha nodded and saw his pajamas to wear for the party tonight and spoke to him.
"Nice pajamas Scorpius." Natasha said to him laughing cause they have snowmen on them Scorpius spoke to her.
"Thanks mum. I wanted to wear them for the party tonight. The Christmas pajama party you came up with long ago was a good idea. Everyone laughs and has a good time and they don't have to worry about dressing up. Where's dad?" Scorpius asked her Natasha answered him.
