its was around 6:10 when cameron started dozing off by a tree.

"perfect, half asleep." vincent thought.

vincent is a vampire who is being forced to turn people by his family. he doesn't really want to be doing this, but he does it anyways to get his family to stop bugging him.

he jumps down from the tree that was next to cameron and tackled her. this startled her awake and made her start screaming.

"who are you? what are you doing?" cameron yelled as she tried getting out of his grip.

vincent didn't answer her. he didn't have to. all he had to do was drink from her and turn her. it was up to cameron weather she wanted to figure out everything by herself or come live with his family.

vincent didn't want to be out here all night and it was way to early for him to be doing this but he didn't care. he bit her.

too many thoughts are going through cameron's head and she doesn't know anything else to do except for to scream. but her screaming just got her mouth covered by vincent's hand. he couldn't risk getting caught and having his families lives at risk.

he drank until he felt cameron's heart beat getting slower. he sat up and bit his own wrist so it started bleeding.

"here. you need to drink my blood so you don't die." he said taking his hand off of her mouth and replacing it with his wrist.

cameron didn't want to die. she didn't even know what was happening to her, but she did what vincent told her to do anyways.

"okay, that should be enough." vincent said pulling his wrist away after about a minute. he stayed where he couldn't be seen, waiting to know the transformation would be successful.

"i feel like i'm dying." cameron said to vincent before she passed out. those words told him that she'd wake up and be left dead. he left without saying anything.

once she came to, cameron moved herself to sit up on the tree again but, it only made her neck hurt more. she didn't have enough energy to get up and walk home. so she sat there and cried. she cried for what felt like eternity until she heard someone else walking through the forest.

cameron saw the girl before the girl saw her. she didn't say anything, she just sat there until the girl walked closer to her.

"oh- oh my gosh! are you okay?" the girl asked her.
"i- i don't know, i feel like i'm dying."
"where does it hurt the most?" she asked cameron again while crouching down to her face and scanning to see where she could be injured.
"my neck" cameron said.
"oh gosh you were attacked weren't you?" the girl said as she moved cameron's red hair out of the way to look at her neck better.
"huh? what do you mean?" cameron asked.
"you dont know? about all the vampire attacks going on around here?" eva informed her.
"i didn't know they were around here. i thought wouldn't have had to worry." cameron says, sounding like she could cry at any moment.
"mhm. i'm going to check out your neck, okay?" the girl says, cameron just nods.

"oh gosh, seems pretty recent." the girl said as she went to pick at the already scabbing wound.
"ow! what the hell!" cameron hissed.
"oh my god, i'm sorry, i swear, i didn't mean to hurt you!" the girl stated, only shifting back a little bit away from cameron.
"oh god." cameron gasped. she was surprised at her outburst. "i-i'm so sorry." cameron says leaning off the tree.
"i'm sorry, i don't know what came over me." cameron said sadly.
"its okay, you just got turned into a vampire, you're emotions and moods are gonna be all over the place." the girl said with shaky but expressive hands before she sat next to cameron.
"mhm." cameron hummed, "how long do you think it'll be like that? all the freaking out?" cameron asked, this girl seemed to know a lot about vampires.
"well, everything for a vampire is like heightened and amplified, so probably the rest of your life. it'll probably be worse for a few months while you're getting used to it. you'll just have to get it under control." the girl said looking at cameron.
cameron just looked at her a nodded.
they both looked back at the trees in front of them and sat in silence for a while.
"whats your name?" cameron asks eventually.
"oh, it's eva. what about you?" eva asks.
"cameron."
