When love is bigger than everything

Summer Love

Anna and her friends arrived in Milan early, and already went to explore the town.

She and Shawn texted each other all the time since the night before. They texted little jokes, they texted telling everything they were doing.

Shawn would send pictures of everything in Paris and Anna would reply with a picture of where she was in Milan.

They felt so close.

After a picture Anna sent of an ice cream, Shawn replied with "I wanna see you". Anna sent a selfie of her licking the ice cream.

"That's not what I meant but that will have to do.

PS: Lucky ice cream" replied Shawn to the fun picture.

Anna woke up the next morning and there was already a text from Shawn asking "what are you doing today?"

She smiled and texted back "Piazza del Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, lunch somewhere amazing and then Parco Sempione and Castello Sforzesco"

As he didn't text back, she took her shower, she and the girls had breakfast and decided to go so they could enjoy the day.

When Anna stepped out of the hotel she couldn't believe her eyes. She froze for a minute looking at Shawn standing at the crosswalk.

She walked in his direction and stopped right in front of him.

- I took the train. - He said

- You took the train. - She repeated.

- I told you I wanted to see you, Bug.

She smiled without believing that was happening.

She noticed Jake was with him, and so was his friend Brian. She hugged them.

- Are you going to hug me? - Asked Shawn laughing

- Yes! - She laughed while hugging him - I am just finding hard to believe you are here.

- I am here - He looked her in the eyes while taking her hand. - And don't worry - He looked to Anna's friends - I am not stealing her this time, we will do whatever you were going to do, we will spend the day with you.

Anna's friends were actually happy. They knew how much Anna was missing him.

All six of them left for the day in Milan.

Bruna became really close to Brian. Anna thought that was good, at least she wouldn't bug her about Shawn and Pedro.

Anna decided she would enjoy the day, and think about what all this meant when she was back home.

They didn't have Josiah to take pictures this time, so Anna took some photos of Shawn and Brian, and Bruna and Brian, and they took photos of her with her friends.

It was really hard for them the whole day. Not being able to hold each other, to touch each other.

Sometimes Shawn would just pass behind Anna and touch her on her back. Anna would touch his arm every time she talked to him.

They had to deal with fans the whole day. Anywhere they went, he had to take pictures with people. But that didn't bother her. She was actually proud.

For lunch they went to a little local restaurant, and gladly was almost no one there, just much older people, that really didn't know him or didn't care.

They got a table in the corner, Shawn and Anna sat with their backs to the wall.

As soon as they sat down Shawn pulled his chair really close to hers, Anna put her hand on his thigh, with her palm up and he held her hand. They looked at each other and smiled relaxed.
