Chapter 8

Y/N's POV:

" We're here" Grayson says as he turns the volume on the car radio down. I nod at him and pull my phone out again, and dial Lauren's number which is saved as "Lola😜❤😘".

Lauren

Y/N

Hallo

Hey Lola, just wanted to tell you that we're here

Oh, okay! The girls and I will be down soon

Sounds good. Oh Hey! Do you have Big Rob with you to escort you guys in the car?

No? Are there paps down there?

No shit Sherlock. I'll wait for you guys with Ethan at the entrance

Alright asshole. See you soon!

As I ended the call they all looked at me with a smirk and an eyebrow raised. I just shrug and tell Ethan to come with me to escort them, winking at Grayson and Troye in the process.

Lauren's POV:

'Babe'

" Lauren you okay there. We have to go" Ally says and I nod, getting out of my head and only then did I realize I have a huge fangirl smile and face currently. " I'm fine Allycat. Its just that Y/N called me babe" I say and she just shakes her head and snickers, "You're In looovvvveee" She says, dragging love out. I just playfully roll my eyes and push her out the door where the other girls are waiting at.

Once we get to the lobby we see Y/N and Ethan chilling at the entrance on their phones as the paps continue to endlessly take pictures. Both of them not really seeming to care. Guess they've been through it enough. " Hey guys" Ethan says, looking up from his phone before putting it away causing Y/N's head to shoot up, she looked straight at me and smiled brightly. I blush a bit from the gaze she's giving me and Y/N seems to notice, making her smirk. She puts her phone away before giving hugs to the other girls and welcoming them with a 'hello'.

Once she reaches me she smiles warmly at me and wraps her strong arms around my waist. My arms immediately making themselves comfortable around her neck. I can feel Y/N smiling into the embrace, causing me to do the same and hide my neck into hers to hide the blush that's coming. She finally lets go after a while and smiles before taking my hand and intertwining them. I blush again for like the 5th fucking time and smile as we walk to the entrance holding a small conversation as we're walking. The conversation never stopping as we walk through the paps, making them feel like their not even there, that's how lost in the now deep conversation we're all in. The conversation still doesn't stop when we get in the car, Troye and Grayson soon adding into the group and we greet them before continuing to talk, only this time Troye and Grayson are talking with us.

  --SKIP TO THE FAIR--

Y/N's POV:

We finally make it through security and everything, so we decided to make the groups now and the groups can go get there tickets then. " Alright so Troye and Dinah the two dare devils are together" Grayson says and they high five each other. " Umm, Ethan and Normani" He says and they pair up giving a side hug and a high five. " Uhh, Y/N and Lauren" He says and me and Lauren share a look before sprinting to each other, I lift her in the air and twirl her, with Lauren giggling as I put her down and wrap an arm around her shoulder. " And then me, Ally, and Camila since we're not 'bout to go on them dumb ass rides that I know yall will" Grayson finishes and they pair up with each other.

" We meet here at 9:30. Deal?" He says and we all say 'yes' or just nod our heads. " Alright now get out of here you animals" He finishes and Lauren and I head towards a ticket booth, hand in hand. After we get the tickets we look around the place and see what rides we wanna do. " Ooo, that one" Lauren says out of no where, pointing with her right hand to the ride that goes in circles with bumps going up and down on them, using her right hand since I'm holding her left. I nod with a smile at her and she smiles brightly back, basically dragging me to the ride, which causes me to laugh at her eagerness. 

Once we're in, she directs me to a seat farther away from the entrance to this ride and climbs into the swan/booth thing. I climb in as well and sit, pulling the strap over my waist and once I see she's done the same, I pull the metal bar down on us. The guy comes around and checks it, before returning to his seat where the buttons and controls are placed. The music comes on and the swan/booth starts moving, going slow before picking up the pace. Lauren is a giggling and laughing mess, me basically the same. This was a great idea.

--TIME SKIP--

After a bunch of different rides and shit we decided to cool down and then eat. I check the time to see its 8:45 and we start walking around and looking at the booth's before Lauren started screeching and I instantly pull my hands to my ears and press hard. She's bloody mad thinking imma let her screech in my damn ear like that! " Y/N, Y/N, Y/N!" She kinda yells while pulling at my arm sleeve. " Yes darling" I say, slowly pulling my hands away from my ears and back to my sides, relieved I can hear normally. " can you do that! I want that bear sooo bad!" She says and points to it and I look to see its a basketball game to win that big ass white bear. 

I used to play basketball in high school so I'm not that bad. " Sure babe" I say and she smiles brightly, intertwining our hands and pulling me to the booth. " Hey guys! You wanna try?" The enthusiastic woman says and I nod with a grin. She rolls up three balls and smiles at me. " If you get all three balls in, you can get that big white bear for $3.99" She says and I nod once again with a grin. " Sure" I say and hand her 5 dollars. " Keep the change darling" I say and she nods with a grateful smile and steps out the way. 

I grab the ball and line up my shot, the ball easily sinking in as Lauren cheers me on, causing me to break a smile and chuckle at her. I grab the other ball and shoot it, the ball once again easily going in. Then I grab the last ball, deciding to show off a bit. I look Lauren straight in her beautiful green eyes and let the ball go while still looking her in the eye. The only thing breaking me from the stare is the siren going off, telling me I got all three in. I smirked and winked at Lauren, causing her to bit her lip and I chuckle, turning back to the lady, seeing her holding the bear out to me. 

I say a quick thanks and grab the bear walking over to Lauren. " Here you are bubba" I say and she smiles brightly, pecking my cheek before grabbing the bear and hugging it to her chest tightly like a little 5 year old would. I laugh at her and grab her left hand, intertwining them. We get lost in the moment as she stares at me. I finally somehow manage to break out of the intense stare which has definitely caused some sexual tension in between us. I check the time and it reads 9:00 so I decided we should go eat now. " You wanna go eat?" I question and she's quick to nod, making me chuckle and shake my head walking with her towards the food.

I get some chicken wings and she gets some grilled shit I done even know the name of. We sit at a table and she's quick to ask me a question. " How'd you do that basketball trick earlier?" She asks and I smile at the memory of my high school basketball year. " I played basketball and soccer back in my high school days but I loved basketball the most" I say and she seemed a bit shocked at the new information. " Really! Tell me all about it" She says and I start telling her of my high school year. That's how the meal went, actually that's how the rest of the night went. 

We talked about our childhood and family shit, even though there ain't much to say about mine. I had a pretty boring childhood, but I loved every- well almost- moment of it. Even on the way back home we talked about it, the only difference being the rest joined us. Then we talked about our adventures at the fair, then back to the good old stories. Even on our way to our hotel rooms we talked about it. We only stopped to say goodnight and shut the door. I do my nightly routine and get under the bed, all the events today hitting me like a train and I easily fall asleep. The last thing on my mind being: This was the best idea I've ever had.
