Chapter 7

Vita woke up and struggled to make it to the edge of the forest holding her head because of the major headache and the pain from falling from the tree, she sighed when she finally made it out of the woods that made it look like it never ended, but just minutes after a giant turquoise looking dragon flew straight up into the air past her, as it did she could see something on the dragon's back moments before it started to look like there was a downpour on her, and as quickly as it started it finished with the dragon disappearing into the clouds " what the actual fuck was that!!" She yelled furious as she's all soaked from the dragon's stunt out the water, making it look like it rained on her. As Vita kept staring up at the sky her dragon mark started throbbing and glowing as she now held her wrist, " damn where is Jayce now " she growls looking around trying to figure out which way to go.

Jayce finally starts coming through as the wind chilling his cheeks turning them red, he was laying on what felt like pure ice, he could feel under him what felt like muscles moving as the giant dragon he was laying on flapped its enormous bat-like wings, when Jayce finally started to realize what was going on his heart started to pick up as a few bits of his memory flashed back to him, the last bit he remembered was seeing a giant creature swim right in front of a giant sail before blacking out. 'Fuck am I dead or am I about to die' Jayce started thinking, he rolls over on his stomach staring at white clouds zooming by and a turquoise tail that swaying side to side, under his hands he felt rough and dry scales as if he was holding on to a giant lizard. "Calm child" a loud echoing ancient voice boomed sending vibrations through Jayce's body with every word, " if you decide to move you might plunge to your death for good" the voice again deep and wise almost ancient, "w-what happened, how the hell did I get in the air, and who the hell keeps talking to me!" he starts to freak out clinging for dear life on anything possible as he slowly turns crawling more towards the center of whatever he was riding, but as soon as he does the giant wings flapped making him slip and fall but just as he was about to slide off the dragons giant back, the giant creature lands in an open field, Jayce face decides to make contact with the sand first the rest of his body following making a small cloud of sand, "Hmm you sure are clumsy child, now up we must hurry and get you, your grimoire and release that spell binding magic clouding your memory" the deep ancient voice still echoed in the empty air this time Jayce finally figured out it was the dragon who was speaking the entire time," wait how the hell do you know so much about any of me, hell I barely even knew what I was till I was 18 and that was only like, like hell I don't even know what day or time it is, V went to punch me and she grabbed me and boom, I'm drowning one second the next I'm on you, so your going to have to explain, and a lot or you know I can just annoy you with anything else," every step the dragon took shook the earth a bit leaving giant prints that disappeared once the wind picked up the dust "furthermore we need to get back to Vita she must be heated, because I disappeared and on top of all that I made us teleport, to nowhere" a giant rumble filled the air and shook the earth, the giant dragon was laughing now " oh child you are in a world similar to your own, only big difference is we have magic, we are in the land where magic exist and is infused with in every human, place and thing," Jayce was in awe taking it all in as much as his lost brain can soak up, " but wait how in God's name will Vita get to us, oh man she's going to kill me for sure," Jayce kept mumbling to himself as the dragon just laughed a bit more.

Achoo!, Damn it Jayce your always dragging me into weird situations like this, where the hell is you now" she growls sneezing and grumbling as she walks back into the woods holding her wrist, it was still pulsing but the mark had disappeared, her clothes were torn enough that it made it look that she was wearing a strapless bra over a bra her pants have now become remanence of pants they resemble shorts now that were cut by a 3-year-old, the more she walked the more angrier she got at Jayce she swore that if she found him alive that she, herself would kill the little prick for involving her in all of his mess. She finally sees the clearing, she lets out a groan of exhaustion finally out of those weird woods, she walked a few feet seeing a rock formation that allowed her to sit and rest for a bit so she can have a better sense of where Jayce took off too. Only a few moments later, when she was just finally getting rest she can hear some screaming and trees breaking the ground shook as if the earth was about to give a giant burp and split open, she quickly got up and flinched but just as she was getting ready for something to occur Jayce flew out of the dark dense woods flying in mid-air as giant earth-shattering screech was heard followed but giant dust clouds that forced some of the trees to part almost as if a hurricane was coming through them. Shit shit shit, I'm going to die and I haven't even learned a single spell!! What kind of magician am I! Jayce yells as he runs fast trying not to trip over his own feet, as soon as he looks up he sees that fiery red hair in the wind even though it is short, it still moved with the huge aftershocks of the roar that now echoed by the yells of Jayce as the figure that was chasing him began to slowly make its way into view.
