Misunderstandings 2

This time I was upset and without even thinking about what I was gonna do, I got up and walked toward him. I moved right in front of him as he sank back onto the sand. I put my hands on either side of his face turning his beautiful tear stained face towards me.
   "If I liked Fitz and not you why would I do this?"  Before he could do anything I pressed my lips against his. They were soft and the kiss was gentle yet fierce, it had a longing to it that made me crave for more.
But I pulled away and looked him in the eyes.
" I have always somewhat liked you, Fitz was just the one who brought me here you are the one who made it worth staying." I had nothing else to say so I slumped down leaning my head on his chest. I fell asleep to the sound of his strong heart beat with his arms wrapped around me tight. But before I drifted I thought I heard him singing one of my favorite songs.

I woke up blinking at the black sky and a million stars. I was wondering where I was when everything came back to me Keefe, the kiss, falling asleep on him. My cheeks grew warm and I looked around expecting to see him but there was nothing but ocean and sand.
My heart started to pound what time was it and   where was he, would he really leave me alone out here with the neverseen out there trying to kill me. He had left his cape over me so I pulled it over my shoulders to tired to figure out what to do. "Keefe" I called but nothing but the swish of waves. I was angry but my fear for me and him overshadowed it. I closed my eyes and stretched my mind out searching for Keefe's thoughts , but still silence. I did not want to leave in case he came back but I remembered Eda's warning and decided to leave a note.
I grabbed a stick and found paper and a pen in his cloak. I wrote.
       Where did you go
why did you leave
          If you care
   Make me believe it

I stuck the stick in the sand and hoped he would find it. I then turned away and leaped home. As soon as I walked in the house Edaline
ran and gave me a hug and stroked my hair as I started to cry. Grady then came out and ran to us wrapping his arms around both of us.
    He leaned down and said "Let's go inside and talk, ok? "
     I nodded as soon as I walked through the door Sandor ran up to me and screamed in his bunny voice "never do that again" then gave me a lecture about staying by him at all times.
I went and sat down on the couch, I told them what had happened leaving out the part where we kissed. When I got done a few tears slipped down my face. Edaline wiped them off and Grady mumbled something about "that Sencen boy." Grady turned towards me and said. "Well cheer up tomorrow we are going to get your first list."
     I mumbled an ok and went upstairs. I hung Keefe's cloak up and took a hot shower. As I climbed into bed and laid down to sleep, and idea popped into my head. I spread my conscious out and transmitted his name.
But only silence I tried three more times before I started to lose hope. Then right before I closed my thoughts off to sleep I heard him.
    "Foster"
  "Keefe where are you and why did you leave me out there alone" I felt some of my anger returning, but I pushed it away.
   "Oh Foster I am sorry I didn't want to wake you and Fintan was calling me back" he said
I could hear the desperation for me to understand why he left me.   " Keefe you are going I get hurt and I won't be able to......."
    He interrupted me with the words I thought that would make my heart burst. "Foster" he said " I am coming home tonight for you "
I could not believe what I was hearing and started to cry knowing he would tease me, but he did not. "Don't cry I'm coming and nothing will stop me"
    "Ok" I said " I will leave my back door open for you, bu I will see you later tomorrow"
"Where are you going to be?" He asked
"Grady and Edaline are talking me to get my match list."
   "Will you do me a favor Foster?"
"What?"
"Can we open ours together?"
I was was a little surprised but I agreed and we said our goodnights. That night like most I could not sleep but this was because I was excited not scared or sad I was full of hope.
I knew Keefe would come home no matter what Fintan tried because Keefe was amazing.
No matter what his parents said and she had to help him believe that.
