Sam's pov
I've just realised what time it is and now I'm scared of what will happen when I go home. I know he is pissed off, really pissed. I know I'll end up in the hospital like the last time I stayed out to long. I start to break out crying, trembling right there in front of this man. The man looked concerned and asked me what was wrong. In response I shook my head, giving him the sign that I couldn't. He started to comfort me right before we heard a banging noise right outside. In my head I knew who did that but I didn't want to know for sure. How did he find me so quick? Is he still drunk? What is he going to do? A million questions popped up in my head. Then he walked right in, Randy was really pissed off.
"There you are! You know I hate waiting! Who's this fucker? Are you cheating on me, slut!? You bitch!" Randy said, smelling like alcohol. He really is drunk.
"N-no sir! I-im not! I will ne-" he slaps me across the face, knocking me down to the ground. Of course I begin to cry showing my weakness.
"Hey! Don't ever call him a slut!! Do you always assume things! He happened to injure his knee, so I helped him out and stopped the bleeding. You probably don't even care! You just want the pleasure, and you know he is weak so you take advantage of that! How pathetic! I would be ashamed of myself if I were you." The man was defending me. No one ever did that before. everyone runs away when they see Randy, because he was in a gang, but not him. He had a terrifying look on his face, scaring Randy. I was surprised! Shocked! He turned around and told me everything will be ok and Randy won't lay a finger on me. Randy ran out of there shitless. The boy then takes his leave.
"Wait! What's your name?.. I want to know" asking him
He smiled, looking down at me. He was taller then me so he had to look down. He gently touched my face and said "Logan."
"Will I see you again? Or maybe?"I panicked. I wanted to see him again. I don't know why but I just want to be closer to him. I also felt as if I already knew him.
"Yeah. you will cause I'm going to protect you from harm's way. " He looked at me with these eyes of a protector. Somehow I feel safe and calm, like I can trust him. He is my protector!
